Have you ever wanted to take control of Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley? Can't get enough of bitchsmacking the other WWF Divas or Superstars around? How would you like to manage the Billion Dollar Princess, or create yourself and start a fued or unstoppable tag team with Daddy's Little Girl? Thanks to the fine folks at THQ, you can do just that. This exclusive feature to The Stephanie Spotlight will give you all the information you need to know about Stephanie's appearances in the WWF videogame series.

  Nintendo 64

WWF WrestleMania 2000: WrestleMania 2000 was the debut of the Stephanie McMahon into the video gaming world. Couldn't find her? Well, that's because Stephanie was not a selectable character, rather a hidden character. In order to unlock Steph, you had to start the Road to WrestleMania with Test and sometime during the course of the career mode, Stephanie would begin to accompany Test to the ring. She also became a selectable character. Her finisher oddly enough was the Stone Cold Stunner, which for lack of a better name, I will call the Stephanie Stunner. She had a limited move set, as did all of the women characters in WrestleMania 2000. None the less, Stephanie made her WWF video game debut in THQ's first WWF game for the Nintendo 64.

WWF No Mercy: THQ's second offering included Stephanie as a regular selectable character. Not only was Stephanie selectable at the beginning of the game, she was the only McMahon who was not a hidden character. But you are able to recreate the McMahon Family fued as Vince, Linda, Shane, and Stephanie are all characters in the game. Also THQ paid more attention to the WWF Divas in this game, as they had their own unique movesets. Her finisher this time around was her infamous "bitch slap" which is called the Stephanie Slap. Stephanie, unless selected to compete in the career mode, was the WWF Women's Champion by default. She also accompanied her husband Triple H to the ring for matches that he was selected to compete in.

  Playstation

WWF Smackdown! 2: Know Your Role: This was THQ's second game for the Sony Playstation. Strangely enough, Stephanie was left out of the original Smackdown!, well in a matter of speaking. Her face was in the Create A Wrestler option in SmackDown! but other than that she was left out. But when Smackdown! 2 hit the shelves, SMH fans around the globe could take control of their favorite WWF Diva on the Sony Playstation. Her finisher on this game was again the bitchslap, also called the Stephanie Slap on this game. It looked a little weaker in SmackDown! 2 than in No Mercy, but it's still fun to use :) This game will mark Stephanie's only appearance on the Playstation One, as future WWF games will be released on the next generation console systems.

  Gameboy Color

WWF Betrayal: Stephanie McMahon plays the role of Princess Toadstool, in the THQ's latest Gameboy Color game, WWF Betrayal. The story line goes along the lines of you (either HHH, The Undertaker, The Rock, or Stone Cold Steve Austin) are in a match for the world title when a heel interferes in your match. You go to the backroom to find Vince who is upset that his "billion dollar princess" has been kidnapped. You must take control of one of the four listed wrestlers, and cover 6 different levels and conquer all of the enemies to get the World Title and save Stephanie McMahon. So this isn't your typical WWF videogame. It's a side scrolling adventure. It sounds interesting, but we'll have to wait and see how the game goes over with fans this August.
