Seth Calvert had a relatively easy childhood. His father, Chris Calvert was a Doctor, and his mother Jessica Senemont Calvert was a lawyer. Seth had everything he pretty much wanted. Including a Television in his room, a radio, and eventually a wrestling ring. It was a match in 1991 that made Seth's eyes open to the wonders of the wrestling world. Bret Hart vs. Mr. Perfect in Albany, New York. Watching this match, and all it's Old School styles made Seth amazed. Bret always pulling off moves such as the Russian Leg Sweep and Sharpshooter with such finesse and preciseness pulled Seth into the Melting Pot of Wrestling fans across the nation. He grew up watching WWF and WCW's hey days...and then WCW lost its material. And WWF had an "Attitude" adjustment. And suddenly, instead of a steel chair being popped into someone's brain ever other week or so, no match could go by without a Hardcore moment. He had been told about ECW...not what it stood for, but that the Lightweights were awesome. In 1995, he watched his first ECW Event...and was sickened. The good wholesome fun and excitement of Professional WRESTLING had become Professional "Using Illegal Weapons". And then Steve Corino stepped on the scene. The self-proclaimed "King of Old School" made Seth an instant fan of his. So he asked his parents about enrolling in The Monster Factory. His mother was behind him 100%, and his father just wanted him to be happy. So it was arranged. Seth, at the age of 18 1/2 went to the Monster Factory in New Jersey. It was here that he met Derian Deniot, then known as The Justifier(yep...if you read Derian's, this is a horrible gimmick), and The Insane Mutant...better known today as Rancid. Seth, immediately after graduating from the Wrestling School where he had met Steve Corino for the first time, was confronted by The King himself. Corino, so impressed with Seth's talent and enthusiasm took him under his wing. After 6 years(Seth graduated at the age of 19) of training, Seth at 25 was christened by Corino himself "The Prince of Old School". Steve gave the young man a wrist band...which Seth still wears with him to the ring today. Seven months later, after runs in a few indy circuits, Seth Calvert was introduced to Big Willie-Isms...where he signed a contract with Death Row Wrestling Federation. Seth Calvert was introduced to a man who is currently the President of DRWF - Mr. Late Nite. In his first match, Seth and Late Nite took on HBK Shawn Michaels and The Enforcer in a Tag Team Title match...which they won. Since then, Seth and Late Nite had one more tag title reign...and then Seth kind of went away for a while. When he came back, Seth had a great resume, winning the IcE Games(Which Late Nite was a part of) and working epic battles with various superstars. One night, on MLN's regular weekly program, the Late Nite Show...his former best friend turned on him, costing him a match against Jason Summers. This sparked a feud that would last for more than two months, culminating with a Towel Match for the DRWF World Heavyweight Title(in possession of Late Nite), which MLN won, thanks to his manager Kevin Edwards. Another war that raged on within the ranks of DRWF was Seth Calvert and Matt Budai. This war started when Matt first came into the DRWF, making fun of Seth and his Old School ways. After that, the two had verbally abused each other, had Old School matches, Tag Team Matches, and the Old School Empire, Matt's brother Rob and his fiancee Melanie got involved! The feud climaxed at Life or Death when the two faced off in a Skywalker match, where Seth completely threw the Old School Textbooks out the window, and beat Matt Budai into the barbed wire pit below. Now, Seth aims for earning back that which was lost to him. The main title in DRWF, which at a time was the World Heavyweight Title, but is now the Eternal Title. Seth strives to input a little bit of that Old School Wrestling back into Sports-Entertainment, and winning a title or two along the way sure helps. With his friends Derian Deniot and Rancid, along with DRWF C.E.O. Matt Fisher as the Old School Empire, Seth Calvert is most definitely a force to be reckoned with in the DRWF.
