Neshaminy wins WT Tourney

Panther Invitational Tournament
WARMINSTER - The Neshaminy wrestling team won
the Panther Invitational Wrestling Tournament with
268.5 points. Central Bucks East was second 195
points and Haverford was third.
Conwell-Egan, Archbishop Wood, Bristol and
William Tennent also participated. Conwell-Egan
finished ninth (65 points), followed by Wood 10th
(45), Bristol 11th (43) and Tennent 13th (30).
Of Neshaminy's six wrestlers in the
championship, three won their matches. Jon Denny
(103) and Bob Ireland (135) won by decision and
Mike Pirozzola (152) won by technical fall. Mike
O'Neill (125) and Joe Mitskas (275) lost by
decision and Jack Fleming (189) lost by pin.
Bristol's Scott Ribarchik (112) won by decision
to take home a medal.
In the consolation round, Neshaminy's Dan
Stewart (112) won by decision. Rich Palmer (130)
won by pin, Pat Warusz (140) won by technical fall
and Tom Frazer (145) won by major decision for the
Redskins.
Conwell-Egan's John Keenan (160) and Matt Pape
(275) won by decision in the consolation final.
Wood's Erich Meister (189) won by decision in
the consolation final.
