Bill "Satch" Watkins - Class of 1960Inducted in 1997John was a State runner-up, Regional, District, and Sectional Champion in 1960. In 1959 he was 3rd in Regionals, and runner-up in Districts and Sectionals. John was the wrestling team captain in 1960. He also lettered in football, and was inducted into the Neshaminy High School footbal Hall of Fame in 1988. He was named to the All Lower Bucks County, All Delaware Valley offense and defense and was named Mr. Lineman in 1960. Watkins attended Rutgers University, receiving a bachelor of Science in 1964 magna cum laude, and he received a master of Education in 1965. At Rutgers he participated in wrestling, and was honored as the Outstanding Wrestler in the New Jersey Men's AAU Tournament in 1963 and Rutgers Most Improved Wrestler in 1962. from 1965-1967 he was the wrestling coach at Delaware Valley College.

Paul J. Tillman - Class of 1962Inducted in 1998Paul was a team captain his senior year. He was a Sectional Champ, runner-up in the Districts, and third in the Regionals. Wrestling wasn't his only sport at Neshaminy, Tillmann also lettered in football. After high school, Paul attended West Chester University. At West Chester, he was the captain of the wrestling team and became a two time NCAA All-American in 1964-65 and 1965-66. He was also inducted into the West Cheaster Hall of Fame. His most vivid memories of his time spent at Neshaminy were his relationships, the rich athletic tradition, and winning the League Championship for his team.

Greg McBride - Class of 1963Inducted in 1994Greg , who wrestled at 103 pounds throughout his career, was dominating in his three years, finishing with a 53-3-1 career mark. In his senior season Greg won District One and Southeastern Pennsylvania regional chanpionships. He remained unbeaten through states to become Lower Bucks County's first-ever PIAA State wrestling champion. McBride never lost a dual meet. He was also a team caption. He graduated from Princeton University in 1967 and received a J.D. from georgetown in 1974. Greg is a lawyer and lives in Silver Spring Maryland with his life Lois.

Jack Dunn - Class of 1965Inducted in 1995Jack was the PIAA runner-up wrestler in the 120 lb. weight class. He was a two time sectional champ, divisional champ and regional champ at 120 lb. and 127 lb. He also played football, where he was All- Lower Bucks for two years and Mr. Redskin his senior year. He attende Morthwestern University, where he was a three time Illinois college champion. He placed second, third and fourth in the Big Ten and was a national qualifier for three years. He retired as the Head wrestling coach for Bensalem High School in 1998.

John Reich - Class of 1979Inducted in 1992John was the first two time State Champion from the Southeastern Pennsylvania. In his Junior year he was 155 lb. State Champ and in his senior the 167 lb. State Champ. John went on to wrestle at the U.S. Naval Acedemy where he captained their team in his senior year. In the NCAA Division 1 National Championships, John took 4th, a 3rd as a junior and he was second as a senior. At the Olympic trials he was injured and retired from compettition.

Ed Curran - Class of 1984Inducted in 1993Ed was certainly one of the best wrestlers to come out of the Neshaminy School District. He was a four time Sectional Champion, three time District Champion, three time Regional Champion, and in his senior year a PIAA State Champion. His career record was 120 wins and 7 loses. After High School he attended Bucknell University where he served as team captain for three years. He was also a three time East Coast Conference Champion, and a three time GTE Cosida Academic All-American. He served six years as the Head Coach of Neshaminy High School were he complied a record of 74-10. Ed was inducted into the Southeastern Pennsylvania Wrestling Hall of Fame on March 6, 1999. His best memories of Neshaminy included his State Championship, meeting his wife, Mr. O'Brien's English classes and parties at Playwicki Park. |
