Here I lay paralized by fear,
I'm scared and helpless.
I try not to let it consume me but it does,
I pray that it will go away.
Everyone else seems so happy and glad,
The fear can't be consuming them.
I can't let it win,
I just can't.
Why is it so distructive?
Why won't it leave me alone?
Make it go away!
Make it stop!
I wake up from this deep sleep,
And I think about my dream.
I remember what two wise guys always said,
"Fear is only a four letter word!"
