Hello everyone and Happy (late) New Year. I appologize for not updating this thing a lot sooner, but the holiday's really took it's toll on me. Anyway, a new year has begun and 2 weeks into the new year, I have wrestled my first match in the year 2001. Last night, in Red Jacket, West Virginia, I worked a show for National Pro Wrestling(NPW) in which I had 3 different roles. My first was fairly new to me as I was assigned to referee the first match of the evening.

The match was between "The Dirty Dealer" and The Zebra Kid. This was a fairly short match. It ended when the Dealer missed a splash on the Kid in the corner, allowing the Kid to roll him up for the 3 count. There was, however, some controversty over the decision as the dealer argued with me that it was a fast count. He ended up chasing me back to the dressing room, where several wreslters restrained him. This gave me time to change into my gear for my second role of the evening: as manager to "Sey Boy" Bobby Storm.

We were asigned the 3rd match of the evening. Bobby and I came first to some good heat from the crowd. Then, Red Jacket's own Brian Gilbert came out. This match was a very hard fought one, with both men pulling out all the stops. Toward the end of the match, Bobby and I were on the outside, when Gilbert leaped over the top rope to the floor onto us. Bobby then was able to pull off a few more moves and almost got the win, until he made a costly mistake and missed a splash in the corner, allowing Gilbert to nail "Ammatilivity Horror"(Invented by ECW's Christ Chetti). With both men down, I climbed onto the ring apron and distraced the referee. Bobby then got his attention, allowing me to throw a chain into the ring. Bobby was about to use it, until Gilbert knocked it out of his hand and almost used it himself. The ref, however, caught him and told him that if he used it, he would be disqualified. I then got onto the ring apron and took a shot to the head for my troubles. Gilbert then nailed the ref, allowing Bobby to get the win via DQ. My third role of th evening was as a wrestler.

The semi-main event was a 10 man battle royal with the winner getting a shot at Heavyweight Champion, Brian Logan. After going around, taking and dishing out a few shots to different guys, I found my way over to the matches eventual winner, Punchy McGee. After giving him a couple of punches, he tossed me into the corner, pulled my basketball jersey over my face and gave me a couple of chops to the chest. I then stumbled out of the corner holding my chest and he just picked me up and threw me out of the ring, elemenating me from the match. Someone else (I can't remember whom) was eleminated while I was getting my hat and sunglasses from the ring announcer, so I didn't feel so left out.

Well, that pretty much sums up my night last night. All in all, it was a good show, with each and every wrestler getting some type of reaction from the crowd. And with that being said, it's once again time for me to sign off. I promise that next week, I will have updated the site. Also, look for new pictures in the coming weeks as well as the debut of our new "Storm Shelter" website. So, until next week, this is B.J. the DJ, the hippest man in the land, signing off.
