This week i want to focus on "Stone Cold" Steve Austin. I give Steve Austin huge props. Ever since his return from injury, Stone Cold has displayed more wrestling techniques than he has ever showed thus far in his WWF career. He has had 2 tremendous matches upon his return with both Kurt Angle and Chris benoit. Both matches were superb and we even saw some old school Stone Cold as he hit several basic wrestling holds that we havent seen the rattle Snake due in such a long time. Also with his return he seems to be in good physical shape and has really showed no ring rust. When a wrestler takes time out from the ring and in Austin case a year out, you develop something that we not as ring rust. Ring Rust is just a term used to descripe the things a wrestler forgets how to do while out of action such as proper ways and techniques to appply a move, surroundings and awareness. Austin has shown a strong comeback both in the ring and out. He hasnt lost his touch with the fans as well. he is still a big name and stilll puts people in the seats. When you hear the glass shatter you pop up out of your seat because you know you want to see that can of whoop ass get opened up. Now as for the future of Stone Cold, i would say that you can pretty much guarantee a Steve Austin vs The Rock for the world Wrestling Federation Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 17. Dont be surprised to see Stone Cold Steve Austin walk out your new champion, because thats the bottom line!
