Welcome to the new and impoved "Hardcore digest". I am the new writter here at The Wrestling Times, baTTman. I am a big fan of hardcore Wrestling. You won't see much WWF or WCW here, only pure hardcore action. Now lets get started.........
First of i'd like to talk about a new hardcore promotion coming out of Detroit Michigan, JCW. Juggalo Championshit Wrestling was started by the rap group Insane Clown Posse. If you remember back in the day, they spent a short time in the WWF as managers for The Oddities, as well as making The Oddities theme music. They then went to the WCW for a while ,this time as wrestlers, and formed a stable called "The Dead Pool" with Vampiro and Raven. JCW also has may famous hardcore stars in it too, such as King Kong Bundy, Abdullah The Butcher, Mad Man Pondo, Raven, as well as other. Also they have some old school wrestlers like The Iron Sheik, and The Rock N' Roll express. They have just relased there first home video called "Volume 1". My personal favorite match on the tape is the "Titties in Thumbtacks" match. You get to see "Angel" face up against "Chick Foley" in a thumbtack covered ring. The entire tape is pretty much real wrestler's facing up against friends of the Insane Clown Posse. It isn't the best hardcore wrestling, most of the guys are pretty inexperienced in wrestling, but its still funny to watch. The funniest part is that ICP does all the comentary as their own comentating charactors, Shaggy 2 Dope is Handsome Harley Questella (aka Qweedo) and Violent J is Diamond Dallavin Douglas (aka 3D), also helping them on comentary is Jamie Madrox from the rap qroup Twiztid, he is called Luscious Johnny Starks. They even make fun of the wrestlers, for example, you can see Abdullah The Butcher talking to new comer Rude Boy, Violent J (3D) says "Now here you see Abdullah say "Take it Home" then rude boy gets whipped into the ropes, tucks his arms in a takes an incredible bump!".
