The show opens with various highlights of last night's ECW on TNN in aid of hyping the Heatwave 2000 PPV.

Joey Style hypes Dawn Marie v. Francine, updates on Raven's and The Sandman's condition and uncensored comments from Paul E. (let's see if they get to them this week) for tonight's show.

The opening montage and music air.

Yoshihiro Tajiri v. DeVito w/Angel
Lots of stalling and posturing at the start. Standard moves and counters dominate the opening of the match, capped off with a stiff kick to the back of DeVito's head. Tajiri slaps on a sit-down stretch type maneuver.

Paul E. promos on TNN's labeling him as "too crude," then hypes an upcoming ECW date in New York.

ECW Hardcore Hotline: It's the hotline report that NO ONE wants you to hear. Not TNN, USA, Fox, WWF or WCW.

Tajiri has tied DeVito to the Tree of Woe and delivers some kicks, but DeVito counters into the Bronx Bomb and Tajiri kicks out at two. DeVito chokes Tajiri over the middle strand then distracts referee Jim Molano while Angel lays 'em in from the outside. DeVito tries to drive Tajiri into the waiting chair of Angel on the apron, but the Japanese Buzzsaw counters, sends DeVito into the chair and then handspring kicks the chair back into Angel's face! DeVito, however, seizes Tajiri from behind and delivers an inverted DDT for a two-count. DeVito dances with Molano again as Angel enters the ring and batters Tajiri further. DeVito dropkicks Tajiri out of the ring and the Buzzsaw dives under the ring. Angel gives chase and when they emerge on the other side, DeVito suicide dives on both of them. Back in the ring, DeVito scores another two-count before Tajiri counters with the back handspring elbow off the ropes and reverses an attempted Baldy double team with The Green Mist and a brain buster for the win.
Winner by Pinfall: Yoshihiro Tajiri

Styles hypes ECW Heatwave 2000's main event, Tommy Dreamer v. Justin Credible for the ECW Heavyweight Title in a Stairway to Hell Barbed Wire Match.

In the back, Tony Mamaluke tells Big Sal and Little Guido that he's booked a match between he and Sal and Mikey Whipwreck and whomever he chooses. Guido chastises Tony for wearing an FBI shirt. Mamaluke vows that tonight he will prove he is F.B.I.

Quick updates on The Sandman's and Raven's condition are given.

Tony Mamaluke & Big Sal Graziano v. Mikey Whipwreck & Balls Mahoney
Mikey and Balls make separate (and lengthy) ring entrances. Chaos reigns at the start before Mikey and Mamaluke settle into it in the ring while Balls and Sal battle outside. Mamaluke goes for a quick pin but Balls breaks it up. Mamaluke dives onto Balls and Sal before being sent into the crowd by Mikey. Back in the ring, Mikey scores a sling shot leg drop for a two-count from referee Mike Keaner. Sal trips Mikey from the outside and then climbs into the ring and splashes him in the corner. Mamaluke tags in (did Big Sal?) and throttles Mikey before a series of suplexes results in a two-count. Mikey counters into an ugly side slam then tags in Balls. Mahoney works Mamaluke with jabs and a Ball Breaker but Sal break up the count. Balls jabs Sal into the corner then absolutely CROWNS him with a chair. Balls then sets Mamaluke up and Mikey delivers a clothesline off the top for the win. Post match, LITTLE GUIDO hits the ring and the FBI takes over on Mikey and Balls. The slaughter culminates with a chair-toting Sal putting Balls through a table on the outside Cactus Jack-style.
Winners by Pinfall, however: Mikey Whipwreck & Balls Mahoney

Balls is shown struggling to his feet with help from Mikey and an ECW security guard. Balls shakes them off and plays to the crowd.

In the back, Bill Alfonso and Ron Van Dam promo on whose ass RVD is going to kick next.

Jerry Lynn counter-promos on his own accomplishments, namely beating RVD at Hardcore Heaven 2000.

In the ring, Pierre LeVette (yes that's right, formerly of the WWF Quebecers) storms the ring and ABSOLUTELY WRECKS "The Extreme Official" HC Loc, who was waiting to officiate the next match. Pierre pins Loc and counts himself to supposed victory. Styles says Pierre has arranged his own try-out match with ECW. Well, if that's the case...Winner by Pinfall: Pierre LeVette

Ad for ECW Heatwave 2000 airs once again.

Highlights of last week's Doring & Roadkill/Diamond & Swinger angle is shown.

Simon Diamond & Swinger w/Their Menagerie v. "Dastardly" Danny Doring & Roadkill
Nova & Chetti and The Dangerous Alliance collect at ringside to observe the match, but are soon brawling amongst themselves. In the ring, Doring and Roadkill set about destroying Simon and Swinger, who take to the outside. The Prodigy sneaks in and powerbombs Doring allowing Diamond to score a two-count from referee Jim Molano. Diamond scores a series of suplexes for another two, then tags Swinger in. Swinger scores another two after a tandem move, and then drapes Doring over the middle rope. Another two-count for Swinger after a Russian leg sweep. Diamond distracts Molano while Swinger and The Prodigy work on Doring, but Roadkill breaks it up. Roadkill tags in and cleans house, planting both opponents with Samoan drops, but The Prodigy foils an attempted top rope maneuver. Diamond and Doring tag back in and The Dastardly One and The Angry Amish Chicken Plucker quickly score The Buggy Bang on poor Simon for the win. Winners by Pinfall: "Dastardly" Danny Doring & Roadkill

Styles hypes a few more ECW dates and that's all she wrote for this week.

END OF SHOW (Still waiting for those uncensored comments from Paul E.)
