The Savage Years-1989-97

In September of 1988 Bill Savage moved to Pinelands from Paramus where he coached from 1973-80. He also coached at Elmwood Park and F.D.U./Teaneck from 1981-1986. During his tenure as coach Pinelands would become a State power being ranked in the top twenty on four occasions while winning four B South and two District 24 Championships. Pinelands also reached the State Section finals three times and the SCT finals twice. The Wildcats became a dominant force in the shore in the 1990's and Coach Savage was selected for the NJSIAA's Highest honor the "Harry E.
