The Backstory...

In July of 1998 there was a vision. This vision started in the state of North Carolina and shortly thereafter spread throughout the entire North American region and beyond. His name was Jeff “Shelton” Starr. Jeff Starr created the North American Wrestling Alliance (NAWA) in 1998. The NAWA grew tremendously and throughout the years built household names such as Dreamer, Heartbreaker, Diesel, Hitman and Denton Enterprise just to name a few.

Jeff Starr led NAWA and this crew into the new millennium until in November of 2000 he was forced out of office and the company was bought out by Bryan Simek, a former NAWA Champion and a Hall of Famer.

In March of 2001, the company was sold by the parent company of NAWA, Time Warner. Bryan Simek tried all efforts to keep the business alive but was unable to with out the financial backing and the loss of Jeff Starr. The AOL/Time Warner merger signified the end of the NAWA...

Until now! 14 years after the sale of the North American Wrestling Alliance, a billionaire business man.. No, not Ted Turner! His name is The Donald. The Donald 15 years later in an effort to gain global popularity, and his weird love for this industry, has purchased the rights of the NAWA.

The new NAWA story starts at his helm!
