Hello children! As far as mat action goes I have battled Cleveland upstart G-Force in both a three way and a singles match getting pinned both times. Lucky guy. But that's not the news; during the 3 way dance (also involving Canadien Bad Boy) I debuted my show stealing sommersault plancha to the floor!

Yes, I know I'm just far too awesome to be real but I assure you I am nothing but!!

As of now, I'm taking much needed time off to let my knees rest. They need it badly. But I'm staying busy fronting Cleveland's newest trash-rock band Southern Trespass, so if you see the name come to a show because rock and roll is back for more.

Anyway, stay healthy and don't stop drinking just because the room is spinning!

4/05/01-

I recently made my debut with Fire And Ice Wrestling in Columbus, Ohio. I had the pleasure of working with Kurt Allen, who is another up and coming talent in the Ohio indy scene.

The match was pretty back and forth, but Kurt did come out as the winner. But don't worry, Wroth will return to Columbus and to the southern Ohio wrestling circuit soon enough.


2/20/01-

Matt chips tooth and gets screwed (All In One Weekend). Last weekend I had the pleasure of being part of Cleveland All-Pro's latest big tour of Northeast Ohio.

Also booked were names like Sabu, Ricky Morton, Tracy Smothers, Hedo from FMW Japan, and Bobby Blaze. First I did a tag against Pittsburg's Blade and Lorain Ohio's Rod Destiny. This is where I chipped my front tooth. One punch later, I had a little something extra to talk about plus ladies dig a chipped tooth (it's a fact).

The next night was a Shoot Battle Royal. On the line was $100 and a six-foot trophy.

The order of entry was random and I got lucky #4. But the luck wasn't there; I went in like a maniac trying to out-wrestle two guys at once. I was taken down a little afterward. My shoulders did touch the mat but my right one was up far before the ref counted me out (a one count or over the top rope were ways of elimination). So yes, believe I was screwed out of a possible one-hundred dollars (call me Bret Hart).

Well, there is some more news coming up. I'm in talks with several new promotions in southern Ohio, so expect some new dates added very soon for March and April as the "Future Of America" goes on a spring tour!
