See Moves in Slow Motion

To see the moves of Wrestlemania 2K in slow motion, go to the moves section in Edit mode. Then, when you preview a move, hold C-Right. It will go in slow motion and have an effect like you see in the opening after The Undertaker is shown.

But I've been experimenting since I got it, and I've listed all the match types I made up for all you hardcore wrestling fans out there. Costumes for Stephanie McMahon and two other females are there. You have to save her as an Original. Then you can trade her to go over to the Superstars Fed, with the other females.

Win First Blood Matches Easily

  1. When you start the match go and get a weapon ( I think the baseball bat is best ) and bring it into the ring. Run at your opponent and knock him/her down with it. When they get back up, do the over head swing, and hit them a few times with it until they bleed. This should only take about 4 to 6 hits depending on the weapon you use.
  2. This trick is one that you may want to do with a created charachter instead of a real one because it requires editing a move. All you have to do is make the guy you are using have the "Furry Punch" as either their "Hold B" punch, Hold B and direction" punch or their "Hold A and B" punch. Then go into a first blood match with the wrestler you just edited and punch the person a few times with the furry punch.(if you are facing a good oppenent like Undertaker, the previous trick is better) depending on who you are facing. I beat Shane McMahon in 4 seconds with this one!!!

View a Created Belt

This glitch allows you to see a created belt when selecting a character at the beginning of Road to Wrestlemania. Follow these steps:

  1. Create a belt
  2. Win a King of the Ring with the created belt on the line.
  3. Go to a new game in "Road to Wrestlemania."
  4. Highlight the character who won the created belt from "king of the ring."
They should have your created belt around the waist. I don't know how this affects your road to wrestlemania.

Note: This also works for tag belts.

First Blood Glitch

In any kind of singles match, turn the blood level to "First Blood" and turn Submissions, Pins, and TKOs "off". Make sure the time outside of the ring is set to "No". The rest of the controls are up to you. After you make your opponent bleed (or vice-versa), the game will usually show a replay of the move that made them bleed, unless replays are off in your game, in which case you would turn them on. When you watch the move that made them bleed in instant replay after the match ends, look at the loser's head. He is already bleeding! This is obviously a missed glitch by THQ.

Keeping Your Special a Bit Longer

When you see your attitude meter flashing, press up on the control stick. If done right you'll finish your taunt and have additional special time. However the only problem with this trick is that there is a glitch. You won't don't do your character's special move but the default one from create a wrestler mode. This is a good opportunity to use you opponents special move to finish him off! Check my other code, "Using your opponents special" for details.

Easy Win in All Matches

Easy Win In All Single Player Games - When playing against computer or a human first get a weapon from the audience and keep hitting your opponent until they are in blue attitude. Then get a special and apply the wrestlers signature move as many times as you can until the special goes away. When the special goes away hurry up and pin him for the 123.

Easy Win In Three Way Matches - When playing in any three way matches first get out of the ring and grab a weapon. Then go back inside and start hitting your two opponents until they are blue. Then earn one of the wrestlers special. After that throw one of your opponents outside the ring. Apply one special to the opponent inside the ring and hurry up and pin him for the count.

Easy Win for Cage Matches - First while the match begins start beating your opponent up until he/her is in blue and you are in special.Once you hit special apply one signature move and then start climbing the cage. To make it over the top tap the B button rapidly until the wrestler sits on the cage or the bell rings.

Easy Submissions

Here's an easy way to make it so that your opponent stays down long enough that you can put on a submission: If u have made a created character or have a cruiser weight kind of wrestler that can do the back flip off of the second rope, then u can do this trick!! All u have to do, is make it so that u are within jumping distance of your opponent. Then u start running towards the ropes (not the turn buckle) just before u are about to run into the ropes press the A button, depending on your choice of moves or character, your wreslter will either do a back flip off of the second rope, or jump off the second rope and try a back elbow to the chest.

Created Wrestlers in Demo

To put a created character in the opening video first you must go to Edit. Next you must pick Stone Cold (wearing his first attire), then select appearance edit, and change Stone Cold to your desired character and press decision. Finally, turn the system off, then back on. Now when you watch the opening video your created character will replace Stone Cold.

Backward Entry Way Taunts

To have your wrestler do his entry way taunt backward, there is just three things you need to do:

  1. Choose The Brood's theme as your CAW's theme
  2. For "Walk Taunt", choose Steve Austin
  3. Pick an entry way taunt (It doesn't matter which one)
Now when your CAW wrestler comes out, he/she will do their entry way taunt backward, facing the Titan-Tron! I think picking Jericho's entry way taunt is the best to pick since he'll do it the right way.

Double Team CPU Move

If you are playing any kind of match with more than 2 people in the ring at the same time. If you pick one of your opponents on your shoulders (Rear Grapple, then C-Up), a CPU controlled person will climb to the top and try to knock this person off your shoulders. The only way they won't climb to the top is if they are downed, in a grapple, or stunned.

Very Easy Win

This trick works a lot better with wrestlers who jump to the top-rope rather than climb. When the match begins, climb to the top-rope and start to taunt (Analog Stick). Do this two times before hitting R to jump down. This will get you a lot of spirit and the CPU won't throw you off because they will back off, thinking you are going to jump on them! You should use different turnbuckles rather than just the same one or the CPU will catch on and throw you off.

Strategies Against Difficult Opponents

When you get further into the game of WM2K the opponents get very tough, they reverse and block everything. To beat them easily you must throw them to the outside by either grappling and throwing them, going on the outside and pulling them out or any other way you want to. Then while there out there (they'll stay on the ground longer each time you do it) tap the joystick to reach special. If you don't have special, don't get back in, but let them up onto the apron and then grapple (Weak) and push A it will know them off and they will be on the outside ground. Repeat until you have special. Do your special move. Then pin them, they may kick out. So repeat process until they don't kick out. This works best the person you are has a special that isn't a submission or a pinning combination.

Play with Mr. Socko

Select any kind of match at all and choose Mankind as your wrestler. Build up your spirit until your Attitude meter is flashing. Try to throw your opponenet out of the ring. If you do, move the control stick to do the taunt that will get you to special. If you did it right, Mankind will pull Mr. Socko out of his tights. You will have Mr. Socko on your right hand for the rest of the match if you do this right. Remember, wait for Mankind to do the entire taunt, or the trick will not work.

  1. Strong grapple your opponent in front and tap the joystick
  2. Strong grapple your opponent from behind and tap the joystick
  3. Strong grapple your opponent in front send him into the ropes and when he comes running toward you tap the joystick
  4. Throw your opponent into the corner, strong grapple in front and tap the joystick
  5. Throw your opponent into the corner, turn them around by pressing L(dont grapple while pressing L)strong grapple from behind and tap the joystick
  6. When your opponent is laying on the ground run to the corner, climb the ropes and you should do a different flying move(this also applies when your opponent is standing and you have a special)

6 Different Taunts

In Wrestlemania 2000 you can do 6 different taunts.

  1. Push up on the joystick
  2. Push down on the joystick
  3. Push left on the joystick
  4. Push Right on the joystick
  5. When you get a special tap the joystick in any direction
  6. Climb the turnbuckle hold c-down and tap the joystick in any direction

Fake Dive

To do this you must have your opponent outside the ring and you must be inside. Run towards the ropes and hold the control stick in the direction you're running. It should then look like you are gonna dive outside but you don't. This is really good for freaking out somebody you're playing. This code only works if the fake dive is one of their moves.

Easy Win in Road to Wrestlemania

This is a strategy that will help you win matches in the single player matches in the Road to Wrestlemania very fast and easy.

  1. Choose your favorite wrestler (if he/she does not have a manager that is a good wrestler then you must do the following)
  2. Clone your wrestler to a empty slot
  3. Edit his/her manager and give him another wrestler of your choice to accompany him/her to the ring.
  4. Now that you have your wrestler ready, go to the Road to Wrestlemania mode and choose him/her
  5. There is 2 possible "cheap" ways to win
  6. When you are wrestling in non title matches this is the quickest way to win
  7. First throw your opponent out of the ring
  8. Then take control of your manager (hold c-up, c-down, and Z) and start attacking your opponent
  9. Try to keep throwing him to each side to waste as much time as possible
  10. Then the out of the ring clock should reach 10 and you will win a easy match in about 30 seconds
  11. Now you will be wondering how to win Title matches quickly, well here it is*
  12. First while you have control of your manger (he should be beating your opponent outside of the ring) with the controller in first player slot keep tapping the control stick)
  13. This will build up your special VERY fast
  14. Don't let the manager keep your opponent out of the ring for 10 seconds or you wont win the title so when the count is at about 8 seconds let your opponent go back in the ring
  15. If you are not at special yet get your manager to get him back out of the ring while you still build up your special
  16. Once you get special, make your manager leave the opponent to get back in the ring
  17. Try and hit him with 2-3 specials then you should be able to win the match with a pin
To win the title match you is either going to need two people, one to control the manager and one doing taunts in the ring or you can control the manager with your hands and tap the control stick with your feet.

Another Way to Win Cage Matches Easily

My good buddy just taught me a sweet trick to use in a cage match. I have yet to lose with it. Beat up your opponent for a while (5-8 mins) then get special. Throw them into the turnbuckle and press "L" (Tree of Woe). Then proceed to climb up the cage. You have special, so it should be quick. It will take them a long time to get out, and when they do, you'll be tapping "B" and they'll be on the ground for a while as well. And if you have a quick special move (like the Stunner) then do that before putting them in the turnbuckle. Note: Make sure he is beaten up thoroughly. WM 2K will automatically knock you off the cage if they aren't beaten enough.

Play Dead/Get Out of Submissions

This trick enables you to play dead, or to easily get out of submission moves. This is when you are in any type of match. It makes your opponent think you're out cold, and heres how to do it .......

TO PLAY DEAD:
Step # 1-...Let your opponent knock you down.
Step # 2-...Hold the control stick (joystick).
Step # 3-...Allow youre opponent to climb the turnbuckle .(dont be scared!)
Step # 4-...Right before he jumps off to hit you let go of the control stick and you will either move out of the way, or put your knee up.

TO GET OUT OF PINS/SUBMISSIONS:
Step # 1-...Let youre opponent knocks you down
Step # 2-...Hold the control stick (joystick)
Step # 3-...If your opponent does not go to the turnbuckle he will do a submission or pin on the ground
Step # 4-...Wait 5 seconds (holding the contol stick) and let go -You will either kick out of a pin, or submission

Royal Rumble Fun

This game is a fun game if you have 4 or more friends to play with. In Wrestlemania 2000, select the Royal Rumble mode. Choose 1P vs. 2P vs. 3P vs. 4P and if you want you may select a title to place on the line. Select the random option, and proceed to choose your wrestlers. In the options for the match, choose lose for ringout, and have no pin, no submission, no TKO, and no rope break. So basically you have an over-the-top Royal Rumble, with no pin and/or submissions. You start off with 4 players fighting. Once someone eliminates someone, that someone who was eliminated will hand their controller to the next player, and so on. This Royal Rumble game will turn out to be the reason that I will buy WM2K.

Rules:

  1. 5 or more players
  2. Royal Rumble Arena
  3. Give a controller to someone who doesn't have one upon being eliminated
  4. Have Fun!

Unlock the CAW Dummy

Unlocking the Create-A-Wrestler Dummy (The guy that you put the moves on, when you preview moves in the CAW function).

Here are the steps to get the CAW Dummy:

  1. Go into an empty CAW spot, and click Clone.
  2. Select ANY Female wrestler and press A.
  3. Once you have the Female wrestler cloned, go into Appearence Edit.. And click 'Attire'..
  4. Once in attire, pick Design #: 1. And there ya' go.. Just clone somone's move's, and he/she's yours!

Manager Interference

Start a one-on-one match and select a wrestler that has a manager/valet. Select an opponent that does not have a manager/valet. Then, start the match and wait for a run-in for the opposing wrestler. After the new wrestler enter the ring, your manager will jump into the match and beat up the interfering wrestler.

Hop And Duck

To hop over an opponent just throw them into the ropes, then when they are on their way back press L and hold the control pad in their direction and you will hop over them. If you press L without holding the control pad you will lie down on the mat and they will run and hop over you.

Get a Special Even Quicker

Taunting on top of the turnbuckle is a good way to get a special, but a faster way to get a special is to knock your opponent outside of the ring. While your opponent is outside you taunt in the ring. Your attitude meter will increase alot. If you didn't get a special knock your opponent off the ring while he is getting back in and taunt some more. Once you have a special let him in the ring and then do your special.

Get Crash Holly

Have you ever wanted to use the Holly cousins as a tag team? Well now you can. The first thing you do to get Crash is go to the edit menu and clone Hardcore Holly to one of the original wrestler spots. Then edit the newly cloned Hardcore Holly. Change his name to CRASH HOLLY (all caps) and change his short name to CRASH (all caps). Next edit his height and make him 3 or 4 inches shorter and make his weight a little less. Finally go into the fighting style menu and select enemy/ally. Leave the rival superstars the same but changed accompanied by to Holly. Now you can use the super heavy weight team of the Holly cousins.

Reformed Alliances

The Corporate Ministry - Change The Undertaker's and Shane McMahon's Theme and Titan Tron to Corporate Ministry and once they come out together it will be as The Corporate Ministry.

The Brood (Gangrel, Edge, Christian) - Change Christian's and Edge's music and Titan Tron to the Brood. Now whenever either one of them comes out with Gangrel, it will say the Brood. They all come out of the flaming pit that Gangrel usually comes out of.

The Union (Test, Big Show, Mankind, Ken Shamrock) - Change Shamrock, Test, Mankind, and Big Show's music to Union and make sure there is NO Titan Tron...put the video on "none". Now whenever any two of those four come out together, it'll be as the Union.

More Turnbuckle Moves

When your opponent has their back in the turnbuckle you can do various moves, but you can also do moves from behind with them facing the turnbuckle. All you have to do is throw or hit your opponent into the corner then press c-left to turn them around. Now you can grapple them from behind for even more turnbuckle moves! I think everyone's moves from behind are the same though.

Fight your Created Character For The Belt

Fight your Created Character for the Belt This trick takes time, but it is pretty cool. First you create your guy, not a big deal. Then play through Road To Wrestlemia with him and try to collect as many belts as you can. That way you have more of a chance to challenge him for the belt. After you finish the season, make sure you have belts. Continue the season and choose a different wrestler now. Eventually you will get some kind of title shot, whether its hardcore, european, or tag titles. But you should now have to fight your guy for the belt, unless he lost it to some one else, thats why you need him/her to have as many as possible.

Wrestling Tips

Get Special Quick - When you're fighting go up on top of the turnbuckle and do your taunt. Keep doing this until you have special. When you have special go up to your opponent and do your special move on them. Keep doing this until your opponent is almost dead. And then pin him. By doing this you do not have to worry about your opponent fighting back and beating you. This works best in single match against the computer. You should especially do this on Road to Wrestlemania where every match counts.

How to Win 3-Way Matches VERY Easily - What you do is you stand over in the corner near the turn buckle and let the other 2 guys beat the crap out of each other. While they do this taunt your Attitude goes up VERY fast go over and hit specials on both of them. Keep doing this until each one has gotten 2 or 3 specials. Then throw one opponent out and pin the other. Sometimes after you land a special the other guy will try to pin kick him off and nail him with a special.

Easy Cage Match Victory - This is the cheapest way to beat the computer on easy, normal and hard difficulty in a cage match. When the match starts climb the cage immediately ,climb to the point where the computer opponent can't reach you. Then move the analog joystick when you are on the cage, you'll soon be in special. When you get to the top of the cage a tap sign will come above the opponent's attitude meter, hit the B button repeatedly and make your way over the cage for sweet victory.

Get D-Generation-X

To get DX all you have to do is go to edit on the main screen, go to the members of DX(HHH, X-Pac, Roaddogg, and Mr. Ass) and change thier video's to DX and thier music to DX. If done correctly then when you do a tag match and choose 2 members of DX the name bar should read D-Generation-X.

Automatic Controlling

During gameplay with any character if you press both the c-left and the Z-button at thesame time your character will be automatically be controlled by the game. (note: The code only works when you are pressing those button's alone at the same exact time)

Get Gangrel's Blood Mist

If you're a fan of Gangrel or even if you're not, you'll definitely like the Blood Mist move (where he takes a drink from his cup and spits it in his opponent's face). All you have to do is go to Edit then pick an Original Wrestler A - P. Select Clone then clone Gangrel, then go to Moves and go to Front Grapple. Then go down to Front Special and find Blood Mist and select it and choose decision to save. Now when you fight with your modified Gangrel, get a special and spit blood all in your opponent's face. HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!!!!! (Note: He doesn't get it from his cup, he just turns to the side and then back facing his opponent and spits.)

Interviews

Interviews usually happen in Road to Wrestlemania mode after the last match of whatever event you're on is over. They can be anything from a roody poo asking for a title shot to your own tag partner challenging you. The only way your tag partner will want to fight you is if you constantly lose your tag matches.

Never Loose A Match

Whenever you are about to loose a match or even if you do just hit Pause then hit Quit Game and it will take you back to the match screen and you will be able to play that match over.If you are counted out or pinned just hit Reset and it wouldn't have saved so you can play it again and keep a perfect record. So now you can be on your way to getting all you secret players.

NOTE: If you are in a PPV that you have more than one match and you've already won one match if you hit reset it will loose that data so that is the only problem with the reset part.

Turnbuckle Spinning Glitch

To make your wrestler spin like crazy follow these steps:

  1. Stong grapple your opponent
  2. Whip them into a corner
  3. Run after them and give them a clothesline
  4. They should be in a sitting position with their backs to the turnbuckle
  5. Run and hop over them (you should be inbetween your opponent and the turnbuckle)
  6. If you did it right, your wrestler should be spinning in the corner until your opponent gets up

Center Names on Bars

Really hate when you make a wrestler and the name is not centered? Well, I know how to fix it. First, enter the name you want OVER the name already there. After you write it, go the space after the last letter and keep pressing B until the last letter of your wrestler's name is deleted. Replace that last letter and exit out. That person's name should be centered now.

Get "Smoking Skull Belt"

To get the Smoking Skull Belt, beat Road to Wrestlemania with Steve Austin. He will wear the Smoking Skull Belt and it will become a belt option in Create a Belt mode.

Get the New Age Outlaws

If you hate Mr. Ass and Road Dogg not being a team, there is a simple thing you can do. Just change Mr. Ass's theme and video to Road Dogg's and they will come out together under the team name of New Age Outlaws.

How To Create Female Wrestlers, The CAW Dummy, and More!

WM2K does not allow you to create female wrestlers, but you can create some female wrestlers that are not playable. If you would like to create any of The Godfathers HO's so that you can play as them just clone any female wrestler. Then change their ring attire to a HO, there are three of them so you have some choices. From there you can clone any wrestlers move set (I suggest The Godfathers) or you can handpick every move. You can also use the same trick to create Stephanie McMahon if you have not unlocked her, and the dummy that appears when you view moves in CAW.

Become Wrestler's Manager

While Player 1 is inside the ring dukin' it out press [ L+Z+C-UP ] and i the controller is in slot 3 you will become Player 1's manager if it is in the 4th slot, you will become player 2's manager. To make the manager turn back into computer controlled press [ Z+C-UP ].

Using Your Opponents Special

Using any character, when your stamina meter reads "Special", use a strong grapple then press the A and B buttons at the same time. This can be used in both a front grapple and rear grapple.

The People's Elbow

To do the People's Elbow for the Rock, when your opponent is laying face up on the mat, press A by their head. Then the Rock will start to the left, then hold C-down to jump over your opponent and bounce off the ropes again, and finally upon approaching your opponent press the B button to execute the Most Electrifying Move in Sports Entertainment Today.

Easily Get Out of the Cage

First get SPECIAL on your Attitude Meter, and then perform your finisher (Strong Grapple + tap the joystick), unless its a pinning or submission move. While you still have a SPECIAL climb the cage and when you get near the top, the word "TAP" will appear next to your Attitude Meter. Then press the B button repeatedly until your wrestler climbs out of the cage.

Have the Headbangers as a Team

Ever want Chaz to just get the hell out of the game and have the Headbangers back. Well.... you can! All you have to do is edit Chaz and do the following:

  1. Change his clothes to Thrashers.
  2. Change his head (Not needed but it makes it look like him)
  3. Change his name to MOSH (Must be in all CAPS)
  4. Change his theme and video to the Headbangers.
  5. Make sure you edit his first costume
Now when you fight Mosh and Trasher, they enter together as the Headbangers!

See Wrestler's Entrance Clothes

So see what a wrestler will wear to the ring, pick that wrestler, then back up and highlight that person again. That wrestler should be in their entrance attire. Bad part is, you can't wrestle like that.

Do Your Opponent's Taunt

In a match, rotate the control stick in a clock wise or counter clockwise direction and you will perform the opponents taunt.

Secret Wrestlers

Paul Bearer - To get the "fat man" you must start a Road to Wrestlemania as The Undertaker. After a few matches, Paul will start to accompany you to the ring and he will be selectable. It may not be a few matches though. It happened to me in about 5 matches and it happened to someone else at King of the Ring.

Stephanie McMahon - To get "Daddy's Girl" you must start a Road to Wrestlemania as Test. After a few matches, Steph will start to accompany you to the ring and she will become selectable. Again, it may not be just a few matches, it could be a while.

Dude Love - All you have to do is get to Summer Slam undeafeated and Dude Love will come out and say something then he will be selectable. Note: Draws do not count as losses. So if you get a draw before Summer Slam it won't count as a loss

Cactus Jack - Once you win the Hardcore title defend it a couple of times and he will come out. If you beat him you get him and if you don't you'll still get him. Note: Draws do not count as losses. So if you get a draw before Summer Slam it won't count as a loss

JR and King - To get JR and King, make it to Wrestlemania in Road to Wrestlemania (You don't have to be in the main event). At the start of WM, JR and King will come out, and they will become selectable.

HBK - To get HBK, win the World Title in Road to Wrestlemania. After you win the belt, HBK will come down to the ring and challenge you to a match right then and there. If you win, he will become selectable.
