Bischoff to give Christian Edge's spot in the Elimination Chamber because Edge said that with Shawn Michaels as the referee he knew he wouldn't be
winning the match and would rather get a title shot against the new champion the next night on Raw, with Bischoff rejecting the idea; moments later,
Michaels confronted Edge; featured footage of some of the Divas and wrestlers playing in the pool earlier in the day, with a chicken fight taking
place between Rosey & Christy Hemme, Hurricane & Candice Michelle, Stacy Keibler & Val Venis, and Maria & Rob Conway, with Christy winning by untying
Maria's top and pushing her into the water:
WWE Raw Tag Team Champions Eugene & William Regal defeated Christian & Tyson Tomko at 12:20 when Eugene, who dislocated his left kneecap moments earlier
and was unable to stand, pinned Tomko with a roll up and grabbing the tights for leverage as the challengers clotheslined Regal to the floor;
Eugene wore Hulk Hogan attire for the match; after the bout, he was attended to by Regal, referees, and a doctor (Eugene's last match for 7 months)
Trish Stratus pinned WWE Women's Champion Lita to win the title at 3:47 after shoving off a DDT attempt and landing the Chick Kick; the champion
tore her ACL mid-way through the match while attempting a Thesz Press from the apron to the floor; after the bout, Lita was helped backstage by
referees, the trainer, and a doctor (Lita's last match for a year)
WWE IC Champion Shelton Benjamin pinned Maven at 6:08 with a roll up after the challenger narrowly avoided being counted-out; Maven spent the majority
of the match cutting a promo on the crowd from outside the ring; after the bout, Maven grabbed the mic, said the pinfall didn't count, and if Benjamin
didn't agree to an immediate rematch then he could be considered the WWE's second women's champion; Benjamin then returned to the ring and pinned Maven
with the Exploder suplex at the 5-second mark
Muhammad Hassan (w/ Daivari) pinned Jerry Lawler (w/ Jim Ross) at 10:51 with the Flatliner after Lawler scared Daivari out of the ring;
there was no commentary for the bout (Hassan's TV in-ring debut)
Kane pinned Gene Snitsky with the tombstone at 11:37; prior to the bout, Jonathan Coachman joined the commentary team for the remainder of the show and to
sit in for Lawler who was still recovering from his match; after the contest, Lawler returned to the commentary table

on Michaels; the chamber was briefly opened after a cameraman was injured when Batista threw Jericho into him, knocking the cameraman backwards into the
chain link cage; Batista pinned Benoit at 26:15 with a spinebuster and then hitting a spinebuster on Jericho onto Benoit's body; Batista pinned Jericho
with a powerslam and the sit-down powerbomb at 27:36; Orton pinned Batista with a low blow and the RKO at 32:30, with Triple H seemingly opting not to
break the cover as he watched from the corner of the ring; Triple H pinned Orton with the Pedigree after Batista hit a clothesline on Orton as Michaels
was distracted by an interfering Flair; due to pre-match stipulations, Triple H won the vacant World Heavyweight Championship; after the bout, Batista
lifted Triple H on his shoulders in celebration, with Flair giving the new champion two thumbs up

the previous night in which Triple H clearly could have broken Orton's cover of Batista during the Elimination Chamber but chose not
to; moments later, Eric Bischoff came out and announced that since both Randy Orton and Batista were worthy of a title shot, they would
battle in a #1 contender's match in the main event;
included a segment in which Simon Dean made reference to a 300lber backstage who wears a mask needing to take his weight loss
supplement, referring to Rosey; moments later, Kane came out and attacked Dean before Gene Snitsky came out of nowhere and laid Kane out with several
shots with a steel chair, leaving Kane bleeding from the mouth; featured the first vignette promoting the debut of 'The Masterpiece' Chris Masters:
