At Lord of The Ring 2003, Sin was crowned the 2003 Lord of The Ring, while Jersey proved all the critics wrong and showed what 4 years of losing can pay off as he defeated Gravedigger in a Cemetary Gates Match to become the WAW Champion. Lord of The Ring also marked the end of Q and Iceman in WAW but brought the return of The Pervert.
At Legacy 2003, the WAW United States Championship made it's return after Q vacated it. In a battle royal featuring Jersey, Justin, Morpheus, Rocko, Toxic, Dirty Dealer, The Pervert, and Sick, all men battled it out but it came down to Justin and Sick, but in the end Sick would emerge victorious to become new United States Champion. In a First Blood Match, arch-enemies, Sin and Gravedigger battled it out for the WAW Championship with Jersey as the special referee. In the end, both men were bleeding, but Gravedigger was discovered first, so in the end Gravedigger had lost gold for the second special event in a row and Sin was a WAW Champion for the second time.
At Annihilation 2003, in the Annihilation match, it was "The Circus" lead by F-O with Pervert, Sick (US Champion), and Rocko against "The Dead" lead by Gravedigger with team-mates, Vempriss, Toxic, and Dirty Dealer. In the end, Sick would outlast Gravedigger to win the match for "The Circus" and become the survivor of the match.
In the main event, in what would go down as the "match with a million false finishes", Sin and Jersey would go at it for the World Title. Despite all that Jersey threw at Sin, Sin was able to over come two-missed Sinners, counter 2 of Jersey's finishers, counter Dirty Dealer's interference, finally backsliding Jersey, who had an Old Testament locked in, for the victory!
Apocalypse 2003 brought many suprises as the one the year before did. In the Apocalypse match, it saw the returns of Vempriss, Justin, and Morpheus into the Apocalypse match. However, it was Sick once again, who volunteered to be number 1 in the battle. He would first do battle with Vempriss and soundly defeat her in just under 2 minutes. Next out would be Morpheus who would be counted-out when he would decide he had enough of Sick. The fourth entrant was Rocko and this is where Sick's luck ran out because with the help of Frankie, Rocko defeated Sick. The fifth entrant was the returning Justin, who would defeat Rocko when Rocko attempted to use Frankie but would be superkicked by Justin. F-O would be out next to do battle and would defeat Justin with the Death Valley Driver and a 3/4 of the ring away F-O splash. Finally, F-O's tag team partner, Q, would enter the battle. F-O and Q would go move for move and counter for counter when it came down to a double-clothesline. As Moody Starr counted to 10, F-O would rise at 9 and be declared the winner. F-O received a World Title shot at Hellbound for winning.
In the Main Event, it was Death & Destruction defending their respective World and US Titles against Payback, who were defending their respective jobs. The deal with this match was, if either Sin or Gravedigger loses, the pinned memeber of the team loses their title. If either Jersey or Iceman was pinned, that pinned member of the team would lose their job. Payback looked to be in control of things, as Dirty Dealer was the referee. The final surprise of the night came when Iceman delivered an Icebreaker and a flying elbow to Gravedigger. Dealer goes down to count....1....2.....middle fingers in the face of Iceman. Jersey would level Iceman with a chair shot. Gravedigger makes the pin and Iceman has been screwed and put out of a job. To add insult to injury, Morpheus would be called out by Jersey to give his "payback" to Iceman by delivering an Icebreaker onto a steel chair.
Hellbound 2003 took place on October 25, 2003. The opening contest would be the first ever Hellbound Match. Paul Clement and Sin would be entrants No.1 and 2. Q, Captain Amazing, Rocko, The Max, Vempriss, and Morpheus would all enter in 2 minute incriments after Clement and Sin. Rocko would eliminate Clement. Sin would eliminate Captain Amazing and Rocko. Q would elminate Vempriss, The Max, Morpheus, and lastly Sin to win the Hellbound Match and earn a WAW Title shot at Doomsday in December 2003.
The Doomsday Match features many competitors attempting to reach the Doomsday Flag suspended high above the ring, but outside the ring so that the only way to get it would be to take a leap of faith from the turnbuckle to the outside for the slim chanse of reaching it while airborne, meanwhile, several other competitors are trying to prevent you from doing so.
Doomsday 2003 saw a horribly bloody Jersey make the death defying leap and capture the Doomsday Flag, promising him a title shot at Lord of The Ring.
F-O defended his WAW Title against his former tag-team partner and best friend Q, with Ivanna's managerial services on the line, as well. Q won, taking F-O's title and Fo-Q's manager, Ivanna.
The main event saw the most violent and brutal match in WAW history, Cemetery Gates IV: Sick VS Grave Digger. The war came its devastating end when both Sick and Grave Digger lay fallen and unable to move. The match will be recorded as a draw and mark their final bout. Both performers suffered career-ending injuries.
Silent Night, Deadly Night 2001 put Smash in the hospital, put Jersey in a box of glass Christmas ornaments, got Sick buried in snow and covered with freezing cold water, crowned Blitz the new WAW United States Champion, and Dirty Dealer screwing Sin and keeping the WAW World Championship Title.
