History:
Koko B. Ware is a true legend in this sport, and why do we say that?..Well he is on Playstation 2’s “Legends of Wrestling” video game! Entering the WWF in 1986 "The Birdman" Koko B. Ware was one of the most popular and high flying old skoolers of his time. Koko was a fan favorite his entire run in the WWF and was always accompanied to the ring by his macaw, Frankie, who was as popular with kids as Koko was if not more. Koko made his ring entrances often flapping like a bird to his theme song, "The Bird" by Morris Day and The Time... Koko beat Kamala to win the USWA world title and later defeated Jerry Lawler to win it a second time... Faced Eric Draven Oct. 27th 2002, this match would later result in Eric Draven calling upon Koko to help him with the “Beautiful People” in SCW... Teamed with the British Bulldogs to battle Bobby Heenan and the Islanders at Wrestlemania IV... Lost a great short match to The Model (Rick Martel) at Wrestlemania VI... Was part of Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage's 1988 Survivor Series Team... The first man to ever be on the receiving end of the Undertakers Tombstone Piledriver... Began teaming with "The Rocket" Owen Hart in the spring of 1992 in a semi-successful tag team known as "High Energy"... Appeared on the first ever WWF Raw (defeated by Yokozuna)... In May, 2003 PWI released a top 400 list (written by WWF writers) of the greatest WWF Wrestlers of all time and Koko was placed at # 250.
