| Dumbledore edged into the small wooded clearing and slowly gazed around. 'OK I`m here, now tell me what you want'. He spoke into the eerie silence and gazed around for someone to answer. 'I know you`re there, I can sense your evilness, smell the nastiness and hate in you.. COME OUT!!' Still no answer. Suddenly Dumbledore noticed a small shimmering of dull light directly in front of him. It was almost as if something was trying to conceal itself amongst the very blackness of the night. Almost instantly, the invisibility cloak was dropped. 'Ah Albus, you old fool. I knew you couldn`t resist a calling if you thought your beloved Hogwarts was in danger' Dumbledore looked disbelievingly at the person in front of him. 'What are you doing here, you didn`t send the mesage, where`s..' The person now standing in front of Albus began to smirk, which gave way to a large grin and violent laughter..'Would you have come if you had known it was I who was commanding you?' Albus sighed and gazed at the cloaked figure. 'No, No I wouldnt. But where is...' Just then Albus heard a rustling noise in the undergrowth to his right and turned expecting to see maybe a rabbit or a small deer. But his tormentor had already leapt to the small clump of bushes. He thrust his long wiry arm into the darkness and grabbed the hair of a child. 'owww, owww, let me go, let me go!' The cloaked figure laughed. 'Well, I expected some sort of trickery from you Albus, but a child? And a female at that!!' He laughed again and it seemed to echo around the clearing as if looking for an escape from the evil contained there. The Hogwarts third year looked up at Dumbledore with teary eyes and looked back towards the black cloaked figure now holding her tightly by her upper arm. She had only wanted to see where Dumbledore was going, it had been several days since anyone had seen him at Hogwarts. So when she gazed out of her dormitory window and saw him walking past the great hall, she HAD to follow him. ' I..I..I`m sorry headmaster, I just wanted to..to see..' As she spoke large pools of tears rolled down the young girls cheeks and fell onto the cold dark ground. '.. to see where you were going. Nobody has seen you for...' The hand holding her tightened it`s grip and it`s owner suddenly shouted.. 'Take her!!' Two large shapes ambled out of the darkness, they grabbed the shivering small bundle and walked back into the shadows. ' No. Let her go, I`m the one you have come for, LET.. HER.. GO!' Albus managed to forcefully speak the words without shouting, something he always seemed to do. Albus realised what was about to happen..The young girl was a small mistake in their plans, something that needed to be erased. He waited and watched. Hoping he was wrong. The two henchmen returned and stood, one either side of their master.'Good' he said. 'Now let us complete our work. An unfortunate error on your part Albus, now you will both have to be disposed of' The man whispered under his breath 'most unfortunate'. The figure reached into his cloak and removed a thin, rather crooked wand. As he did so the two figures beside him did so as well. The two henchmen placed the tips of their wands on their master`s, all three wands formed a sort of makeshift arrow...pointing directly at Dumbledore. The Master spoke, softly apologising for what he was about to do 'I`m sorry Albus, truely I am. If only you had listened to me. You could have become the most powerful wizard since..since' He faltered on the words. 'But no. You wanted to be noble, to bring young minds into the wizarding world, show them the good in people. Well headmaster, I have a newsflash for you, you chose the wrong path...Goodbye. The two henchmen gazed at each other across their master as he began muttering under his breath. Their wands started to shiver and then to shake violently. The motion seemed to move up their arms into their whole bodies. A small green luminous ball of light formed at the end of the three wands and slowly grew to the size of a small pumpkin. Suddenly the three men were forced backwards onto the ground as the ball shot forward towards the old bearded man in front of them. The figure in the middle looked up with a large maniacle grin on his face. Finally..Finally.... The young girl stared at the three men in the clearing. She finally recognised the two figures either side of the cloaked man. That was why they had let her go. They were students from Hogwarts!. Her mind raced. What was happening?, why were they here?, how many more were there? Suddenly the man in the middle spoke..'I`m sorry Albus, truely I am. If only you had listened to me. You could have become the most powerful wizard since..since......But no. You wanted to be noble, to bring young minds into the wizarding world, show them the good in people. Well headmaster, I have a newsflash for you, you chose the wrong path...Goodbye. The girl saw the light forming at the ends of the wands and knew what was about to happen. Almost in an instant she was running into the clearing towards her beloved headmaster. She didn`t know what she was going to do, but she ran anyway. The cloaked figure suddenly stopped grinning... 'No..No..Don`t let her touch him..Don`t let her touch.. the spell.. the spell will.....' His voice trailed off as he watched her. Dumbledore saw the girl running towards him. His face suddenly twisted in terror..' No don`t touch me, don`t..' Too late.. The young girl reached out to take the old mans wrinkly hand, just as the green ball of energy hit him. She gazed up at him and smiled.. The word seemed to be pulled from dumbledore`s mouth, turning into a scream...'NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO' |

| The young girl lay quiet on the cold, damp earth. Her face still smiling, her eyes closed and her breath still.. Dumbledore knealt at her side and gently cradled her head in his old, wiry arms. He gazed down at the person who had given the most valuable thing she possessed. 'You knew..my dear child, you knew...' His shoulders began to quiver as he pulled the young girl closer to his chest, as he did so a small silvery tear made it`s way down his cheek and found it`s way through his old matted beard onto the young girls motionless body, it was joined by several more as Albus slowly lifted his head and gazed at the three men still sitting directly opposite him.. The cloaked man in the middle of the group spat his words at Dumbledore. 'Nnno. No, it wasn`t meant to happen. She took the spell. She wasn`t supposed to touch you..she knew... You Knew!!' Albus looked back down at the face still cradled in his arms. He slowly bowed his head down and placed a gentle kiss on her forehead, as he did so he placed her head softly back on the earth. He slowly raised his hand to his throat and undid the clasp holding the cloak protecting him from the cold night air. As the cloak fell to the ground, he gathered it up and placed it over the young girl. Slowly, Dumbledore raised himself to his full height and lifted his right arm, pointing at the men opposite him. 'Now you shall see the path I have taken and the price to be paid' his voice boomed around the clearing and all three men suddenly realised that soon, there would be another body laying on the earth in the clearing.... |

| The man, now standing looked down at the body on the earth and laughed. 'Ah well, I suppose we have to have a few casualties, even if they are the scum taught by you and your band of fools'. He raised his hands and tilted his head back to look up at the night sky. A strange formation of clouds suddenly appeared overhead and began to take the shape of... Dumbledore knew that he could not face this alone. He had conjured a portal in his office, hopefully there would be someone who would be able to see what was happening...Dumbledore needed help! He was about to be tested to the limit of his powers. Within this dark, cold, forbidden surrounding he was about to give everything to protect his beloved Hogwarts...Maybe even his life. |

| (I have permission for this..I just have to be on my best RP behavior) *Nathan Dolohov was in Dumbledore's Office at the time when the portal was there. He saw what was happening and he couldn't help it anymore, so he ran through it. Nathan closed his eyes and didn't know what was happening. The portal was commuting him somewhere and Nathan was bouncing from side to side, flashes of light beamed pictures through Nathan's closed eye lids. And then *POW* Nathan erupted from the other end of the portal and was right there. "Ugh..Ow.." said Nathan. His eyes widened at the sight of Dumbledore. Dumbledore needed help and Nathan couldn't refuse it so he withdrew his wand. "Hello sir. I am here to help, surely more is on its way if I know Hogwarts the way I do." said Nathan. He walked cautiously to Dumbledore, and he had a pained expression on his face at the sight of Dumbledore's eyes. Nathan could actually feel the mixed feelings in Dumbledore. Was Dumbledore angry? Sad? Nervous? Scared? There was no telling, but Nathan stood right by Dumbledore's side and waited to know what to do. |

| *Kingsley Shacklebolt has been in the forest for only a few minutes, and already all of his alram bells were ringing. Something was horribly wrong. Of course there would be things wrong, seeing as the Death Eaters had attacked students on the lawn and in the forest just a half an hour ago. He was wondering whether Em and the Professor... What was her name again? Well no matter; he hoped that they had had some success in finding the Headmaster and figuring out what had gone wrong there. Kingsley swept his illuminated wand from side to side looking for some sign that the Death Eaters were nearby. There were none. They had probably been very well schooled in covering their tracks by Malfoy, he realized. If there was one thing that Lucius was good at, it was hiding things. Upon entering a rather clear portion of the forest, Kingsley suddenly found his heart in his throat; a loud scream had just rang out from a ways away. "What the bloody hell was that?" he blurted out. Not giving himself enough time to answer, he set off in the direction of the noise at a sprint, trying to make as little sound as possible. |

| (I still have permission) *Nathan Dolohov slowly turned his head to the side, and he saw three dark figures standing by. Nathan narrowed his eyes. He knew what they were. They had to be deatheaters. He should know, seeing as his father (Antonin Dolohov) is/was one. Nathan put an angry expression on his face that made it look like his brows were in a V shape. His nose was slightly crinkled, his eyes now dark red and full of anger. Nathan's whole facial expression made him look like an angered wolf. He wanted to speak but he couldn't because his whole body was trembling with anger, along with his vanes full of blood and ready to pop. *Nathan Dolohov then looked down and his eyes began to get a darker red, almost black. He saw a body of a girl, lying on the ground. He gulped and looked back up. Nathan hoped that he, Dumbledore, would be safe by the end of this. |

| Matt pushed through the portal in Dumbledore's office and bounced off the ground of the clearing in the forbidden forest. "Fat lot of good I'm gonna be," he thought. "I haven't even been to classes yet!" He looked down at the girl, prostrate on the ground. "I can carry her to the hospital wing," he offered, trying to pick up the girl. |

| Jinx was quietly waiting at the portal for Lockore and the others. She had her broom in her hand. Feeling that numbers would be their power. She had always said that she would only go into the forest when Professor Dumbledore led the way. "Its hard waiting. Where is Lockore and the others. We need to go swiftly and quietly. Surprise will be to our advantage." |

| OOC: There are Deatheaters right by her, they aren't just going to let you take her... Nathan still stood, angry and ready to just go all out and tackle the Head Deatheater that stood before Dumbledore. OOC: And also, be realistic, no hero acts because that just ruins it all..remember that we are still students...I am not attacking or whatever because I am waiting for more stronger people to come before I do...so think wisely, and act mature, not heroish. |

| Feeling that time was passing and Lockore might already be ahead of her. Jinx walkes through the portal. Bouncing on her knees, holding her broom in one hand and wand in the other. Hoping she remembered all Morning Hawk had told her about riding the wind. The wind pushed her out of the portal where she saw the others. Standing by Lockore she is ready for action. "I too am here Professor. We will do our best. The others are coming." Looking around, Jinx decides she might be more valuable in the air. Hopping on her broom she glides up to try to see where the others are. |

| Matt cradles the still unmoving girl in his arms. ((ooc: she was by Dumbledore; he kissed her)) The older students and the adults were coming. Though he was big for his age (11) the girl was as big as he was; Matt stayed down close to the ground. |

| *Aura went through the forest as steathly as possible. She crouched down in the bushes, trying not to make a sound. She continued on, rolling her heels as she walked to avoid causing major noise that could get her caught. She peered through the bushes at the scene in front of her. She wanted to gasp, but held it in. Oh my god...The poor girl... she thought to herself as her eyes went wide from the sight. Aura looked around for her partner. She put her hands together and blew into them, creating a call that only her partner would be able to answer too. To any other ears, it would be just a weird animal call. She looked around, trying to make eye contact with her... ((ooc: As Jodie said, if I am not allowed, tell me and I will edit...)) |

| [COLOR=green]Jinx and Jodie see Matt struggling with carrying the student. "Jodie, lets swing down and give Matt some help. It will be quicker taking her with our brooms." Jinx dives toward Matt and lands quietly beside him. Reaching under her cloak she brings out her lariet. (rope) "Help me loop the rope between the brooms. Tie a knot each time and we should have a litter." Jinx saves the last few feet of rope to tie the student on. "Are you ready Jodie. Flying together like this will be more difficult than playing quidditch." Jinx and Jodie lift off staying a few feet above the ground. "Matt, can you follow along and keep the litter steady?" |

| Matt tied the ropes expertly. This was something his wize old grandfather on the Hamblin side had taught him. The liter was readied and Matt and Jinx placed the girl in it. "That should do it!" said Matt. |

| AJ heard the call Aura made and answered with a bird call, up in the tree Aura was actually looking in. AJ was guessing Aura couldn't see her but grinned down anyway. She was always up for a good fight, and it looked like they were going to get one! And as one school, not four Houses! |

| Aura smiled as she heard the bird call. Good, she isn't caught. She looked up the tree at AJ. I can't believe I looked right at her before and didn't see her... Aura used hand signals to AJ. She pointed to the left and signalled her to go around and meet her. When she was acknowledged, Aura took off to where she just signalled. When she got there, she spoke to AJ in a hushed tone. "Tell me you have a plan..." |

| Jinx, Jodie and Matt weave through the forest as fast as they can with staying quiet. Jinx glances ahead and sees some dark shadows on the ground ahead. "Trouble up ahead. We can't go back and the shadows might not be the good guys. Jodie, go to the right. Matt, can you keep up? It's not much farther to the edge of the forest where help will be." The group go to the right behind some bushes but continue toward the school.  |

AJ took a running start off of a large branch and leaped down to where Aura had pointed. (OOC: *smirks* Hey, it could happen.  ) Aura was waiting for her and asked her if she had a plan. "Well, I'd feel better if I knew what HE was going to do!" AJ whispered back. "I don't know yet... but if Professor Dumbledore needs us, we're here to help him."(Aura, I honestly would love to figure out what's being planned first.  ) |

| Weegie had been following Aura from a distance until she saw her suddenly run out of site. She's probably meeting up with AJ...... Removing her wand from her robes, Weegie silently stalked out of the bushes, almost falling over when AJ jumped out of know where. God be praised! That wasn't a death eater.... After wiping the sweat from her brow, Weegie sighed out of pure relief before heading towards her popcorn sisters. "What do we do now?" |

She then decided to go behind the other men for the element of surprise. "Come..." She practically crawled over to where she wanted. | Weegie's face recieved an expression of horror at that comment and she snapped her head in Aura's direction. "Absolutely no jumping! NO NO!!" Weegie struggled to keep her voice down, but they were at such a distance nobody would have heard her anyway. "We're only here to help Dumbledore if he needs us! After all, wouldn't it be weird if at our funerals people were discussing why we were in the forest after forcing so many others out???" |

| Lockore shook his head in disbelief. Did all these people realize how much noise they were making? He knew there was no helping it now though. He would do the best he could, that's all anyone could ever ask for. He found that he really wasn't surprised that he wasn't terrified. While he was a little scared, what bothered him the most were thoughts of what could happen if they should fail now. There would be very little, if anything between these people and the school. His friends would be in great danger, they could be hurt or even killed. That was something, he swore to himself, that simply would not happen. |

| Jinx, Jodie and Matt finally make it to the edge of the forest. Matt only had one scratch, from a branch that whipped back as they passed too close to a tree. After passing the edge of the forest the two girls bee-lined for the castle, leaving Matt behind to trudge along as fast as he could. "See you in the hospital wing," Matt yelled, out of breath, to the girls. |

| Jinx turns to Matt to thank him for his help. "Matt, thanks. Stay here. Jodie and I will fly her to the hospital wing and then come back and pick you up. That is if you want to go back to help. If you lie on your belly on the litter and we fly higher you might be able to see the death eaters and we can drop dung bombs on them. It is not much, but it will warn the others of where they are." Jinx and Jodie quickly go to the hospital and inform the staff of what is happening. They stop at the dorm to pick up their stash of dung bombs. "I hope nobody spread the word that a prefect has a stash of dung bombs." Jinx mumbles to Jodie. Jinx and Jodie fly back to Matt. |

| Harry finally got into Dumbledore's office and saw a portal there. He took out his Holly wand as it was great for destroying Dark Wizards. "I know I'll probably regret this but I have got to help them." He thought. He then jumped in and landed on the ground seeing Dumbledore and some other students. "Professor I'm here to help." (I hope I can post here.) |

| Jinx is thankful of all the hours she spent on the quidditch field. It was tiring flying with a litter. The brooms kept wanting to come together so her and Jodie had to try flying away from each other to keep Matt between them. "Matt, Look over to the right. I see some shadows. We will fly as close as we can. It looks like two death eater trying to sneak behind Professor Dumbledore." Jinx and Jodie swing to the right to let Matt get into position. |

| "I'm glad I played cricket with the Muggle neighbors!" Matt grinned as he threw the dung bombs one at time at the two shadows. "Dude! that stinks!" he choked at the smell at the explosions. |

| As the death eaters look up, Jodie and Jinx are already around another group of trees. Both girls are getting tired but they would do anything for Professor Dumbledore. The noise alerted Prefessor Dumbledore so he could move to a more protected position. "Matt, there is a big shadow to the left of the Professor in the trees. Hold on, he we go." |

| Aura watches as the others get ready to attack. She crouches on her feet and waits for them to finish. Aura dove away from where the dung bombs hit to steer clear. Her heart was pounding. Just then, a thought hit her.What if they think I am a Death Eater... Aura took out her watch and reflected the moon off of it towards Jinx. "Oh please...see this!" she whispered to herself. "Don't get me..." |

| Matt readied another set of bombs and was just swinging into the throw when he noticed the uniform. "Jinx!" He cried. He tried to keep the bomb from hitting the Ravenclaw student. But the bomb slipped from his fingers. Luckily the bomb slid to the right and impacted several yards behind her. "She's not a Death Eater!" |

| Aura climbed up a tree quickly and stealthly to speak with them on their height level. She made sure she was climbing up the tree away from the Death Eaters. "Thank for not hitting me," she said a little out of breath. "I am waiting for a good moment to attack... Perhaps I could create a diversion for you..." |

| [COLOR=purple]Thanks to Aura's signal, Matt was able to toss the bomb away from her. "Good job Matt, I saw Aura but couldn't move fast enough. OH, Oh, we're going down. Jodie, we need to go down, now." Jinx noticed that one of the knots was a granny knot on the litter and it was slipping. Worrying that the rope would start to unwind and leave nothing for Matt to lay on she told Jodie they had to land. Looking around, Jinx sees Lockore. Aim towards Lockore. The rope keeps slipping, tipping Matt into Jinx and away from Jodie. "Matt, this might not be a perfect landing. Hang on to me." |

| Aura jumped off the tree and landed with a dull thump. Thank God she wasn't that high. She ran through the trees towards the others. She stayed under them until the landed just in case one of them fell. She would be there to catch them. "Easy," she encouraged them to continue coming down. |

| Jinx and Jodie are wobbling toward Lockore. "This might be a more painful landing then when my broom fell apart during the quidditch match. Hang on." Just as they are tipping to the ground, Aura grabs Jodie's broom and balances the landing. All four drop in a heap at the feet of Lockore. |

| Jack had entered Dumbledores office to ask him something when he saw a portal inside. He didnt think of anything else but, to go into it. He was transported to the forest. His sword in his grip he ran to the edge of the forest and spotted many peple there. He rushed to them . *What is happening Here?* he asked. |

| Aura was squashed under Jodie and her broom. "Jodie...off!" she managed. She looked to the forest. Shadows were approaching. She helped everyone to their feet. "It will be no use running on the lawn. Hide in the forest!" Aura ran to the forest. And help Dumbledore if you can. she though while running. When she reached the edge of the forest, she stopped and quietly walked in, making sure not to make a noise. She looked back to the others and signalled them to go around and surround the shadows. |

Kazua and Jack take a few dung bombs. We need to find Professor Dumbledore. Use the bombs as a diversion. If the death eater come towards the group, throw them behind them. When they turn quietly go to the Professor. Jodie and I have brooms so we can fly out and catch their attention. They will think the noise is just made by us. Be careful. Listen to Lockore. " Jinx coils her rope. Thinking of her 12 boy cousins and all the roping they have done. The time the boys talked her into roping a bear. Instead of the bear running away, it had run at Jinx and her horse. Jinx still thinks of the good rope she lost in that escapade. "All I have is my rope and my flying skill. I will do the best I can." |

Replying with a similar animal call, Weegie turned her attention to the two 'assasins'. "Take out your wands, they're going to serve more useful then those swords against death eaters. But they don't know magic yet, genius. Weegie shook the thought out of her mind and edged a little closer towards the Death eaters, waiting to see what their next move would be. |

| Aura caught Weegies eye and nodded. She took a deep breath while looking down at the death eaters. Now or never... She said a silent prayer to herself and jumped off the tree. She landed on one of the death eaters who staggered into the one beside him. Aura let out a little yelp when she landed but continued to hang on tight to the Death Eaters neck, hopefully choking the life out of him. She looked up and saw a Death Eater with their wand pointed at her. "Weegie!" she called out. |

Clasping her hands over her mouth, Weegie made a sort of hooting noice, the noice that meant to hold your ground. OOC: Yes, this is what the PFW do, come up with animal calls!  Damn! Weegie's signal wasn't put across to fast enough and Aura was now at the wand point of a death eater. Knowing that she couldn't fend the more powerful death eaters off with her magic, she launched herself at Aura, pulling her off the death eater before she was hit while diving behind a bush. "Something tells me that wasn't very smart...." panting to catch her breath, Weegie turned to Aura. "Let's lead them away from the head master!" |

| [COLOR=red]Jinx is circling around and realizes that Matt was laying on the ground after being hit by a rock. Noticing a death eater coming around the tree and thinking fast, She made a loop and dropped it over the death eaters body and flew for all she was worth. She knocked the death eater off his feet but he pulled her off course and she collided with a tree. This knocked her off her broom and her broom went crashing down to the ground. Grabbing onto a limb she loops the rope around and ties it. Then realizing, discretion is the better part of valor, she climbs higher into the tree into the shadows in hopes the death eater couldn't see her. The death eater was up and charmed the rope off and was looking into the tree with his wand pointed up to wards where the rope was tied. "This is so scary, I need to be as quiet as possible and hope he won't see me." The death eater points his wand and sends a blast to where the rope was tied. The tree limb crashes to the ground. He then walks away. "Well, there goes another rope, but this was very scary. " Jinx sits in the tree quietly waiting for it to be safe to summon her broom to her.  |

Aura stopped dead in her tracks and ducked as the death eater tripped over her. Aura sprang up and ran back towards Weegie... |

OOC: Kazuo, I really doubt, no matter what background you have, that you'd be able to do that, or that Prof. Dumbledore would let you hack up one of his former students....  "Hey! Over here!!!" Weegie waved her arms around madly, boldly pelting a rock at the death eater, which was of course a stupid move, but Weegie was desperate to draw them away. The rock was frozen in mid throw and Weegie just knew she was in for it. Gak! Kuso! Time to run! Blindly charging deeper into the forest, Weegie bushed aside branchs and stomped bushes into the dirt as spells were casted her way. Finally she was able to crash into Aura. "If we keep this up we'll die! Let's make a circle back to the castle away from Professor Dumbledore, that way we can, well, hopefully get to the castle where it's safe, and he can come up with a plan!" |

| Aura pulled Weegie to the side and climbed up a tree. "Have to ever gone tree running?" she asked. Aura gave a reassuring smile and ran across the branch and jumped to the next tree. She let out the breath she was holding. She put her fingers to her mouth and then pointed downwards. The two Death Eaters were there. Aura took out a book that was in her robes (she had been catching up on her reading) and wipped it over Weegies head. Aura slipped as she threw it with such force. She tired to grab on to the next branch but missed it. She landed in a heap on the ground. The Death Eaters were attracted to the sound and took off towards Aura. Aura looked up at Weegie and signalled her to keep tree running. Aura took off towards Dumbledore holding her side and breathing very heavily. |
