Amadeus had quickly left the train when it had slowed into the station. Stealing off into the belching fumes of the steam train, he made his way past the hordes of screaming and panicking children. The small boy, who he had made so, tipped a vial back of orange liquid. Arching his back for a moment, the boy regained his small stature. Shaking his head, the boy looked through the thin steam to see if anybody was following. No. Perfect. A thin smirk coursed over his face as he began to skip towards a small courtyard/alley. The castle, only a mere mile away, he would easily get past the doors and the ‘guards’ and notify his master. All was working fine. Julian slowly made his way, hopefully, out of sight. Before him was an arched, almost monastery like alley. Lined with columns and stained with old brick and masonry. Amadeus nodded, easy enough. Pocketing his wand, his only weapon of destructions. It was all fun and games for him, though a mission, he enjoyed hearing the children scream for mercy, and watch their bones break from a simple word. It was the way of life that he dreamed, even as a young boy. Always trying to out do his prissy older brother. But who knows, his brother might be the one some day, some how to catch him and put an end to his reign. Highly doubtful, of course. Putting his mind at the task at hand, Amadeus snuck his way a few more steps, making sure he wasn’t being followed. The boy stopped and dropped his rucksack. He began to rummage through it. Seemingly he had forgotten something, or was looking for something. “Damn it,” He muttered. Amadeus gray/boy eyes darted about. Something, amiss.

Oh boy, oh boy, this was bad. Sariss was so glad when they had finally arrived at Hogsmeade. There were apparently Death Eaters on the train, and now she could finally run to safety. Why wait till a hoard of frightened children had squeezed themselves into the carriages and boats? That would only cause a delay. She’d be up at the castle and in safety much more quickly if she just ran. Yes, running was good now. It would force her to breathe when she was actually too scared to do that. But… she couldn’t run. She was a prefect, for heaven’s sake! She should get help for that poor boy in that compartment… A medi-wizard. Someone! An adult would know for sure… Maybe a shopkeeper. Yes, there must be someone in Hogsmeade that would be able to help, someone who would know spells that could move the boy out of the compartment and up to the castle without killing him. Sariss looked around at all the crying and scared people and then dashed off into Hogsmeade. The train always arrived late in the evening when it was already beginning to get dark. She looked around frantically, keeping her eyes open just in case that someone wearing a hooded robe and mask should slip out of the shadows. Keeping near the wall of a shop building, she pulled out her wand before proceeding further. When she had reached the corner of the building, she peeked around it to ensure that there was nothing there that could harm her-- --and saw a boy who was rummaging around in his rucksack, looking for something or so it seemed. The Slytherin lowered her wand as she approached the boy. “Hey…” she said. “Do you live here? Or are you a new student at the castle? I need to get help.”

Amadeus still looked through the contents of his back. A Death Eater mask, robes, several more vials of the Polyjuice poiton. But the acid, where was the damn acid? The young boy swore in his childish voice and continued looking. Perhaps it fell out on the retched train when he was making somebody scream. Amadeus cursed himself mentally for being stupid. The boy slumped onto the ground and throught. How would he get through certain doors without the acid? He couldn't just shoot off spells, some detector would catch it. Sighing the boy got up, but footsteps quickly approached. A young, Slytherin from the looks trotted to him. Speaking: “Hey…” She had begun, "Do you live here? Or are you a new student at the castle? I need to get help.” Amadeus raised an eyebrow, then quickly lowered it, making sure she had not caught it. He made his eyes slightly wide, and looked her over. Her wand was lowered, and she was....a Prefect. Amadeus thought for a moment. So, a Slytherin Prefect, from the badge. Meaning, she was smart, knew what she was doing, and could cause him some trouble. He leaned down, with a smile and reached into his bag, turning, out of sight to slip his wand into his pocket. "Erm, nope. Just came off the train!" He said in his boyish tone, young of course. Amadeus did resemble a little elven year old. He tilted his head. "Is something wrong?" he asked. He noted he was in casting distance, and could perhaps curse her to oblivion. But perhaps, she was just the person to help him into the castle. If not, he'd just blast her away, and make his 'way' into the castle. In all due time, Amadeus would think it out. Waiting for a response, his fingers curled around his wand in his jacket pocket. His bag on the ground, perhaps she could see the items inside? Perhaps not. Amadeus eyes narrowed slightly, waiting. "I only just got there, and I lost my...water bottle!" he nodded. "My mum said I need it, for some reason," Amadeus spoke in a meek voice. "I hope you are okay, right?" Perhaps that was to lavish, but it would do for now.

When the boy asked whether something was wrong, Sariss didn’t listen much to what he added after that. Something about water bottle and mum, but that held no significance to Sariss. “Is something wrong? Yes indeed! A lot is wrong! Did you not notice anything of what happened on the train? There were… people… probably Death Eaters… but I haven’t seen any of them, oddly enough. And so many people are hurt! And I need to get help!” She looked around frantically, thinking about what was the best thing that she could do. Unprepared as she was for a situation like this, her usually so analytical mind provided her with little creativity. If only she wasn’t just barely a fifth-year. If only she was a fully-fledged witch Perhaps she should run up to the castle and get teachers. Someone would alert the Aurors… and there was Professor Trimble… and McGonagall too… and all the other duelling officiators who surely could help. And Madam Pomfrey and Flora and all the other Hospital Wing people could hurry to Hogsmeade, maybe on broomsticks… Or maybe they had portkeys for such cases of emergency. “I’m okay… yes… I suppose… Let’s get you to safety before someone gets the clever idea to venture into Hogsmeade and hurtle some curses…” That was really the last thing she needed. To be cornered in a dark alleyway by a Death Eater. How deeply into the damsel-in-distress scenario could one delve? Sariss held out her hand for the boy to take it, but then thought better of it. “Do you need help with carrying that bag there? Why do you carry it with you anyway? The luggage is always being taken to the castle…” she trailed off and made to pick up the bag. (ooc: You can eat my muse. It's died.

(*eats* Amadeus looked quickly at the girl, she seemed to be in a wide array of stress. Perfect! The boy looked at the Slytherin with his handsome eyes, tilting his head. "I just lost somethin', is all...," He said scratching the back of his head. "I can find it, thanks," Amadeus stepped back a few feet and slowly brandished his wand. A slow smirk coursing over his face, trying to avoid her hand. "There is no going anywhere, young lady," Amadeus raised his wand and shouted in his young voice, "Percutio!" he roared, as the blast of unseen energy tore towards the girl. Hoping it would hit, he would have ample time to curse her to oblivion and make his way to the castle. Amadeus giggled, in his boyish form. "Twas the wrong time and place, young Prefect, to go looking for trouble....now you," He paused to lick his soft pale lips, "A victim of your own curiosity!" Amadeus flicked his wand, his bag floating into the air and onto his back. He raised his wand again, making his way towards the Slytherin. "Might I have your name, before you scream!" he chuckled, before so he checked the other alleys to make sure nobody was coming. At least he would have some fun before he would make his way to the castle. Flicking his hair from his face, the young Julian aimed his wand at the girl, ready for the next attack, which he would savor..... -------- Lets get it on.... Percutio - Striking Charm, if it hits it will throw you back....far

“What?” Sariss said under her breath when the boy began to speak in a manner that was not what was to be expected from a boy so small. Her eyes narrowed in confusion; her brain was seemingly unable to process the information and suspicion that the boy’s behaviour invoked. This was no boy. And whatever he said there, Sariss couldn’t make out what it was. It did sound like an incantation, but it was one that she did not know. “What the--?” Whatever she had planned to say was cut off and forgotten as she found herself being hit right in the chest by an invisible force. The Slytherin felt as though she was lifted into the air and hurled back like in slow motion, although for an onlooker it all happened way more quickly. Eventually, Sariss found herself lying on the ground in the middle of the street, so far had she been thrown back. She could count herself lucky that she hadn’t been thrown against a wall—although at the moment she could not quite appreciate her luck. A fall like that might have injured a Muggle quite a lot, but thankfully wizards and witches seemed to be less prone to such inconveniences. He’s not a boy… He’s not… He must be disguised… Must be a dark wizard… "Might I have your name, before you scream!" the boy chuckled, and Sariss clutched her wand more tightly. Thank Merlin that the surprise momentum had not caused her to let go of her wand. She shook her head so as to get her head clear. My name? Oh boy, he was expecting an answer… an opportunity provided itself to her. Trying to appear as clumsy and drowsy as she could, she made to bring her wand into a position that would allow her to aim without betraying her intentions to the figure that still looked like a boy but obviously was none. “My name is Relashio!”

Amadeus looked on as his victim struggled. What joy he had in this, and he was alone. She was all his! The boy smirked as the girl stumbled and got up. Amadeus’s face changed from joy, to hatred once more. The gray eyes of the young French boy seemed to return to slits as he raised his wand, the girl rising. She clumsily pointed her wand. “My name is…Relashio!” Amadeus stumbled backwards as a volley of sparks headed his way. His vision, slightly blurred by the continuing flashes. “Damn it,” He whirled around and jumped over a bench for cover, more so tripped, but to make it look snazzy, he jumped. Amadeus quickly aimed his wand. “Such spunk…can’t have that. Exhaurire!” The girl would probably know what that spell was, Amadeus pointed his wand again, with pointless aim. He would have to hit her sometime, or revert to destroying the young Prefect, with a thousand Crucio’s, but then again…what was the fun in that. “Reducto! REDUCTO!” The first hit slammed into a lamp post which exploded into sparks, sending glass and iron in all directions, the other hit close to the Slytherin, but no hit. The boy narrowing his eyes raised his wand, ready for another attack, but stole the chance first. “Ferire!” There was a swirl of electricity, as a bolt of green light headed towards the Slytherin, he was in…for an interesting duel. ----- I'm sure you know most of the spells....dueling of course. But who said it was easy.

Sariss only had little time for rejoicing when her spell found its intended target. She leapt up and was torn between running away and running for cover. It was he who ran for cover first which was something that bought Sariss some time. But before she had come far, she felt herself struck by a spell that positively sucked her energy from her. Oh dear… She knew that one and stumbled under its sudden taking of effect. Her stumble was fortunate for her though, as two curses narrowly missed her. Reductor curses… if only she could remember what exactly they did… But the details weren’t important. They caused a lot of damage to buildings, so they’d not do any good either when they hit Sariss. Better avoid them, yes indeed. “Ferire!” shouted the boy again. That was something that Sariss knew. She made to jump behind some crates and rubble when pain soared up through her leg. The brat—the dark wizard or whatever he was—had hit her. She stumbled and fell this time; her leg was twitching from the electricity and she whimpered with pain and anger. “Stipitis!” She conjured up that familiar large log. Perhaps it would cause distraction and provide cover by its sheer size. Sariss had a feeling that her future wasn’t exactly bright.
