Sir Edward's strident demands for Nick Cutter's arrest led to a fast and furious chase for possession of the letter (Photos, left and below). The resulting chaos greatly disrupted the morning ceremonies -- much to the anger of Sir Edmund Tilney!

During the day, the Seadogs continually encountered Sir Edward's Guards. Even at the morning sing-along, Nick Cutter found himself in a brutal duel with Bardolph Simple, which he barely managed to win (Photos, right and below).

In a mean and desperate attempt to flush Cutter out into the open, Sir Edward had his guards terrorize the village revelers (Photo, left). The Seadogs then appeared and an intense battle between Oswald Jaggers and Jack Bottoms ensued (First Photo, below). The battle became fierce and sparks really started to fly (I'm serious!) as the rest of the combatants engaged each other (Photos, below).

Enventually, Cutter got the upperhand (Photo, right); -- or so he thought! Lying in wait with a pistol drawn was Bridget Paxton AKA Lady Coke, Sir Edward's wife (Photo, below). They managed to subdue Cutter and regain custody of the letter. Fortunatelly, Nick and the rest of the Seadogs escaped to confront Sir Edward later at the Cheshire Chase stage.
