Queen Elizabeth then arrived and sorted out the matter of the letter herself. Sir Robert was given an opportunity to woo her (Photo, left); -- even getting help from Will Shakespeare (First Photo, below)! Of course there there was still a rival for the Queen's hand (Second Photo, below)...

Eventually, Elizabeth made a decision and resolved everything to everyone's satisfaction. Even Sir Edward Coke did not seem to mind -- but then he had more interesting pursuits going on (Photo, left)!
