Intel® 815E chipset features and benefits

The Intel® 815E chipset is designed for use with Intel® Celeron® and Intel® Pentium® III processor based platforms. It offers integrated graphics and an AGP4X plug-in for ease of upgrade, providing a platform that meets the stability and reliability requirements of cost-sensitive customers. It¨s 2nd generation I/O controller (ICH2) supports options for integrated LAN and ATA/100, which provide greater flexibility and a full-featured solution. For a more advanced platform with integrated USB 2.0, higher-performance integrated graphics and AGP4X upgradeability, Intel offers the Intel® 845G chipset.
