But they just couldnt market it so along came this school dropout named Frank Woodward, who at the age of 20 brought the Jello patent for a $450, who at first he was also quite unsuccessful at marketing the product and after a while he decided to get rid of it, he was about to sell it for $35, until shortly before the sale was went ahead Jello took off and was start to sell phenomenally and by 1906 Jello sales had reached a massive $1,000,000.
The mystery into what could stop your jello shots from setting has been solved, the key is not to use any fresh or frozen pineapple, kiwi fruit, figs, mangoes, guava or papaya, or fresh ginger in the mix.
These particular items all contain an enzyme which keeps Jello Shots from setting. However if they are cooked or come from a can then your Jello Shots will set without much of a porblem
The answer is yes you can. The higher the level of alcohol in the jello shot mix the more chance of it catching fire.
There are a number of hard liquors that can be used in jello shot making, but for the best effect try to use liquors over 150 proof or 75%.
The 2 best liquors to use when making these concoctions are either Bacardi 151 rum which stands at 75% alcohol or Everclear grain alcohol which between 95-100% alcohol.
