Majimap Choice Aboriginal Corporation, was initiated and developed when 4 (four) Indigenous Community members, who are currently employed within the Youth & Human Services Sectors had a vision to support and assist with the developeing and implementing of sustainable programs for aboriginal people, in urban, rural and remote communities. The uniqueness of MAJIMAP CHOICE is based on programs that interlink to assist in the provsion of delivering consultative innovative programs and services that can be maintained by community members within their own environments and pride for the community. With the on-going support of high profile Indigenous people across the country, who believe this program to be worthy intervention into the decline in Indigenous people,s self-determination, we aim to promote positive choices. It is the belief of the Board of Directors that quick fix solutions to the on going issues faced by Indigenous communities is not sustainable without continued and on-going Government funding,community ownership and pride. Our understanding and aim is to support and assist individual Indigenous communities to further develope and implement community within their owm environment.
