My name is Lavette Williams. I was born in Cincinnati, OH 1972. I currently live in Covington, Ky. I attended Holmes High School and graduated in 1990. I started working in the 9th grade. When i left school i went straight to work and straight home after work. I was to attend EKU after graduation, but six months prior to graduation i got pregnant with my 1st child who was born in 1991. I continued working, but i went through agencies doing clerical work and such. I then got a seasonal job in 1993 at the IRS working as a Data Transcriber. I continued working there until 1996, which then i had my 2nd child. After my 2nd child i then took on a full-time job as a CNA at Rosedale Manor. I worked there for 3 1/2 years, before i started work my current job as a Administrative Assistant at Fidelity Mortgage Lending. I am now getting back on track so that i can know continue my education that i missed out on in 1990. I am not taking Information Technology through Kaplan College. I have always loved computers and have always wanted to know more about them and the programs you can create. I plan to finish with an Associate's in 2 years and hope to come back for my Bachelor's.
