Let us set up a Russian-American business
Ladies and Gentlemen,
I am a Russian businessman willing to
establish a Russian-American or,
commonly, Russia-any western country business. I am offering you a business
co-operation. Your minimum financial gain will be about
$5000 monthly.
The idea is to outsource Russian talented translators, programmers,
scientists, etc.
Why the estimated gain is so big?
Because all intellectual and creative service in USA
costs at least 5 times as much than in Russia.
Got where is your gain?
You could earn not bad money in the following areas of mutual co-operation by:
1.
Finding telecommuting jobs for poor but extremely gifted Russian programmers,
who agree to work for $8-$12 p/h (vs. $40-$70 p/h as in USA)
2.
Finding translation jobs for Ru > En and En > Ru translation (on ANY
subject, my employees can translate absolutely ALL).
Lots of gifted, but hungry translators, living here in Russia, having Ph.D.
degree in Linguistics agree (and can!) translate texts remotely on *any
subject* for only $0.04-$0.06/word (vs. $0.13-$0.25/word as in USA).
3.
Gifted unemployed Russian scientists and academics agree to carry out
scientific research remotely for $10-$15 p/h (vs. $60 -$100 in USA)
They can carry out research on *any* area of science.
(Note: only telecommuting jobs are being considered).
It would be a great unreasonableness and even a recklessness not to use such a
conjuncture.
There are some other possible areas of activities which I shall describe you
later after establishing a private contact with you.
Feel free to suggest any other areas of Russian-American (or any other
country)
co-operation. I am open to any business ideas/proposals.
My part
in this business is to arrange the jobs working out here in Russia.
I live in Saint Petersburg, scientific center of Russia and I currently have
tens of talented people in all three categories described above and much more.
Your part
is to find the jobs and contract the end customer "as if" you would
carry the job out yourself. It is the main point. The end customer
*must not*
be informed, that his job will be actually worked out in Russia.
Why? Because they know Russian rates and never pay you USA rates if they
will be informed, that their orders really will be worked out in Russia.
Don't think that customers are fools.
So, you have to play a gifted programmer or a scientist or a translator. It's
an art. You
have to be smart enough for it.
Really you will send the job details to me and I shall arrange the job working
out
by hiring appropriate performers and supervising them.

Now let's discuss the financial details.
The best option is that you conclude a contract with an end customer so he/she
to pay you by stages.
This way I may pay to my workers by stages as well ( else they will not
agree to work at all ). Do not conclude a contract with payment after the job
completion.
It is assumed that you will contact only me. You need not contact the actual
job performers. You send me the money (i.e. my share; actual share
amount
is a subject for discussion for the each particular job) by stages and I
send
you developed pieces of the output product.
An example:
Ru-En Translation of a book containing 500 pages.
It would be great if you conclude a contract providing payment for every
100 pages. Money first - then sending every 100 translated pages.
I hope you understand me and we shall establish a mutually profitable
business.
Let's calculate your gain using the mentioned above example.
One page consists (in average) of 250 words.
Translation the one page in USA costs $0.15 * 250 = $37.5
Translation the one page in Russia costs $0.04 * 250 = $10
Pure gain is $27.5/page or $13750/book.
It's not bad, yeh?
I agree to have my share of 40% ( while yours is 60%)
Deal?
So, in a month
(or two) you will earn $8250 actually doing nothing.
( and me = $5500)
The only your job is finding jobs and concluding contracts.
My job is harder, because I will have to test tens of applicants and reject
incompetent frauds. I shall do it by sending the applicants a test
translation.
It is rather hard job, taking a lot of time. But nevertheless, I agree to have
my
share of only 40% for it.
Please let me know your opinion regarding this my business proposal.
Note: I must be informed on the particular job not less that three weeks
before
the contractual job starting. I need a complete and comprehensive job
specifications. It might be that I will not be able to find appropriate
performers
for a particular order, and we must not to disappoint the customers.

I am a scientist, having Ph.D. degrees in Linguistics, Electrical Engineering
and
Computer Science. I have graduated from Saint Petersburg, Russia
Polytechnic
