Celtic Art

Home

This is just a small gallery of the pictures I like within the scope of Celtic Art. For some reason, I love to see the way the knots and serpents intertwine. They aren't all perfect, or as professional as I would like, but they all have the heart of a nation of warriors behind them all the way, and that is very special to me. Unlike current times, they were actually all supportive of their men that fought to protect their way of life. Vietnam was the first overt defiance of our policy, but it definitely hasn't been the last. Let us remember the need for all warriors in the past, and honor our men and women by giving them the respect and support that they deserve.

The Triskelion

This piece of art is one of the favorites of my fiancee (I don't know how to put that little hash mark above the 'e', if you know how, please let me know!) and mine. I'm thinking of using a slightly different version to represent our family. I know that it's not my coat of arms, but past is unchangeable, while the future has unlimited paths to take.

Perfection

This one has only a clipart name, and that hardly does it justice. I'm not sure where it came from, and therefore cannot give the artist her just publicity, but I thought it would be best to share it with all of you. It's amazing what you can find when you search through lycos while drunk! I'm not trying to infringe on anyone's copyrights or anything, I just thought that this is nice.

Perfection

This one isn't as pretty as the last, but it's sound in its design. Again, I found it the same night that I found the last, and therefore don't really recall which site I swiped it from, but I thought that surely someone could appreciate its subtle beauty. I changed the colors around a little bit, but the design is still the exact same. If you happen to find the authors of these clips, be sure to appreciate their full line of beautiful artwork.
