Spells and Enchantments Lesson 4

BLUEBELL FLAMES - Bluebell Flames creates a quantity of blue flames which can be directed to a specific place. Fires created by the Bluebell Flames spell are waterproof. You can carry these fires in a jar, a glass, and of course, a fire-pit. To cast the Bluebell Flames spell, you must point your wand directly at the place where you would like your fire to start and say, "Incendio." If casting the Bluebell Flames into a jar, make sure you have the jar at least a couple of inches away from your wand. The only way to put out a fire created with the Bluebell Flames charm is with an Extinguishing Spell.

CONJURING CHARM - The Conjuring Charm creates objects out of thin air. These objects can range from sleeping bags to table cloths to fans and the like. However, there is a legislation about what you can conjure and what you can't. Most things conjured out of thin air will disappear after a few hours. Though, there are some exceptions, which include sleeping bags. Sleeping bags will disappear within twelve hours. In order to cast the Conjuring Charm, you must have complete concentration on what you would like to conjure. Swish your wand and say, "Novo (insert object here)". Make sure to say the object you would like to conjure after the word "Novo" is spoken, or else nothing will appear.

FEATHER-LIGHT CHARM - The Feather-Light Charm makes an object weigh practically nothing. It is great to use when carrying something heavy over a long distance. The Feather-Light Charm was invented by Johnson Poddern in 1855. Poddern would travel to many places on his broomstick, but trying to carry all of his luggage while flying was not an easy task. After a while, Poddern got fed up! He would not go on anymore vacations until he could figure out a spell to make his luggage lighter. After five-years of practice, he finally came up with the Feather-Light Charm. Now the Feather-Light Charm is known worldwide and is used all the time to make every day tasks much easier. To perform this charm, point your wand at the object you would like to make lighter and say, "Levitas." In no time your object will be as

light as a feather! STUNNING SPELL - The Stunning Spell, also known as the Stupefying Charm, renders the target of the spell unconscious. The Stunning Spell is used by dragon keepers to calm down dragons; though, many of them must perform the spell at once for it to have any effect, whatsoever. Flavius Belby tried to use a Stunning Spell against a Lethifold, but only succeeded in blasting a hole through his bedroom door. As you can tell, the Stunning Spell can have a great effect on many things. In order to cast the Stunning Spell, you must concentrate, point your wand directly at the object you would like to Stun, and say, "Stupefy!" The only way to wake up a person who has been Stunned is to use the reverse spell, Ennervate.
