Here is some information about me :

Educational Details

Having matriculated from high school in 1991 I completed an Associate Diploma in Library Studies at the Adelaide Institute of Tafe . On my graduation I enrolled as a part-time student in the Bachelor of Arts - Library and Information Management degree now known as a Bachelor of Arts -Professional Major in Information Studies at the Magill Campus of the University of South Australia . Hopefully this should be my final year.

I have constructed this page as part of my studies. The course I am undertaking is "Electronic Publishing on the Internet". Set out below are my exercises and assignments.

My Employment

I first started work in a contract position at the University of South Australia Library Underdale Campus. I worked there for 6 months before moving to the Salisbury Library. Here I was fortunate enough to be made a permanent staff member and I worked there for approx 4 years until due to closure of the campus I again made a move, this time to the Magill Campus Library. I enjoyed working at Magill but having completed my Associate Diploma in Library Studies by this time it was not long until I was rewarded by obtaining a Library Technician vacancy, which also required another move, back to Underdale. I was happy working here but when the opportunity arose for me to work as a Reference Officer at the City West Library I jumped at the chance and am now employed in this role until the end of 2002. At the end of the year I am therefore due to move back to Underdale but hopefully with the completion of my University Degree I can again move up the library ladder.

Other Interests

Other interests for me include most sports. Particularly Australian Rules football

I follow North Adelaide in our local South Australain League. Click on the team photo to go to the Clubs Homepage.

I am also a strong Essendon follower in the Australian Football League.

I guess I have to admit, being a South Australian I do support the Crows at least they are better than that team they call Port Power. Apart from this I like to keep fit by cheerleading and going to the gym. Other interests include watching movies, many of which are on at Greater Union. I also like eating out,reading and generally having a good time.

Family

My family consists of 5 members. There are my parents "Malcolm and Bev" a younger brother "Andrew", a younger sister "Susan" and myself. We also have two pets, the first is an adventurous dog, a kelpie named "Tasker" and the other is a cockatoo named "Charlie" .

My Boyfriend

My boyfriend's name is "Shannon". He works for M.F.Gordon Joiners. He enjoys most sports and is great fun to be around.
