About Me
I am 18 years old, engaged to the girl of my dreams, and come from a dysfunctional family. But don't we all? I am graduated, and will be entering the Air Force soon. Also, I am wiccan. I am a solitary with absolutely no coven experience. I suppose that isn't something I should brag about but it's ok, we are all friends here right?
Wicca/Paganism
Wicca is a native, or Pagan religion. It is not about witchcraft, but it incorporates it. Not all wiccans are witches, and not all witches are wiccans. Still with me? Catch up! Ok, wicca is a natural religion, which means that we try to become more in tune with nature (hence natural!), which in the long run brings us more in tune with our Diety. Ok, I should explain Diety. Diety is the force that a religion believes in that created all. The Book Religions have God, Yahweh, Jehova, etc. Pagans use many of the ancient Gods and Goddesses, such as Horus, Isis, Hekate, Cerrunnos,Diana, etc. Each culture had it's own specific set of gods and goddesses, or pantheons. Pagans, and Wiccans, work with whichever dieties they feel more comfortable to work with. Some feel compelled to work with Bast, and Egyptian cat goddess, or maybe with Brighid. For more information on this, see my wicca page. Paganism differs across the board, there are very many paths to choose from. One may have wiccan beliefs, yet practice sorcery. There are limitless possibilities. I cannot begin to describe paganism, just that it is a religion that does not believe in the book religions. This excludes satanists, who in my opinion are not pagan, they believe in the Christian god, they just choose to oppose him. Please correct me if I am wrong on that one! If you want to learn about paganism, the internet is a wonderful tool, that is why you are here anyways right?
