Amber Cavales
Amber Cavales

Amber Myrna Cavales was born on July 12, 1974 to Lynn and Bradley Cavales. Amber grew up in a large wizarding town just outside Cork city Ireland. Growing up Amber was around muggles and muggle items quite often as her father worked for the Ministry of Magic's department of Muggle Relations. Her mother is the proud owner of a clothing store in town called, "Lynn's Family Fashions."

As a toddler, Amber stayed at home with her mother who told her about the wizarding world. When she turned four years old her mother began teaching her how to read and write. Amber at first didn't take a liking to it, but as she became better at it she found herself quite often longing to read stories, her favorite were muggle stories her father would bring for her.

Shortly after Amber's 5th birthday her life took a drastic turn when her little sister Catalina was born. Amber soon found that she now had to share her parent's time with the new baby. Still Amber didn't much mind since she had plenty of books to read as well as a new found interest in the sport of quidditch.

Shortly before her 11th birthday, Amber got what she had long hoped for, her letter of acceptance to Hogwarts School of Witchraft and Wizardry. Amber had little trouble making friends while at Hogwarts and was quite outgoing. Through her seven years at Hogwarts Amber excelled at many subjects. Her favorites by far were Ancient Runes and Charms. She also excelled in quidditch and was twice named to the all Hogwarts team.

After graduation Amber tried out and sucessfully made the Pride of Portree quidditch club as a reserve chaser. Amber spent her first year with the Pride on the reserve team, playing in secondary matches at odd hours of the day. Amber would also spend countless hours with Catalina helping her develop her quidditch skills, her hope was that Catalina would continue to propel Ravenclaw to victories, and hopefully they could play together for the Pride some day. After an entire year playing reserve games, Amber finally got her chance to play with the Pride in the second match of her second year with the team, thanks to one of the starters getting a flu-like virus. Amber took to the pitch and never looked back as she quickly showed the professional quidditch world why she was an all star at Hogwarts as she scored 3 goals in her first match and helped the Pride beat the Kenmare Kestrels 210-30. During the next year Amber became a quite reconginzable quidditch star. Amber still lives at home with her parents, and has no intention of moving out any time in the near future.
