Aliestra
My friends sometimes call me Alie.
I prefer you would pronounce my name correctly when addressing me!
Aliestra : (uh-LEE-struh)
Alie : (AL-lee)
Thank you!
Now, I suppose since you are here you are wondering what I'm all about. Well, I'm a character owned by a lady who likes to role-play. She created me pretty much in her own image except she says I have a much more interesting life. That's just her opinion! Personally, I get pretty tired of all the fighting and mining and forging and spell casting, not to mention running a hydroponic agricultural center! I'm expected to keep up with all of that and have a social life with help only from my robots, or mechs as I call them.
Conquering the world is really not my goal but it seems that she might be pointing me toward exactly that. I really don't think I'm proper material for a Queen anyway... though 'Empress' doesn't sound so bad! Seems like an awful lot of hard work just to earn a headache.
A girl gets tired!
Anyway, she asked me to write up a bit of a profile on myself so I'm doing the best I can here. Personally, I think she just wants to marry me off to someone rich but that isn't my style at all! If I can, I will get whatever I need on my own and I am usually patient enough to be able to do it.
I live on a beautiful planet called Tryphon. It is a warmer world in most respects compared to Earth, where I believe most readers of this would be from. Forgive me if I am incorrect in this assumption, she told me it would be posted on what Earth people call the Internet. I have visited that planet several times in my travels and do like it there but wish the inhabitants would take care of the planet better instead of polluting and abusing it constantly.
Sorry, I digress often when something sets me off!
Ok, I live on Tryphon. It is a planet in the system known on Earth as Siris. That is the same name we know it by and the truth is that my people have been visiting there for several thousand years. It is warmer than Earth, slightly bigger, and the climate zones vary from Earth temperate to rain forest to desert. We have many high mountain ranges and vast seas, lowland jungles and high plateau prairies. Our gravity is 1.1G compared to Earth and our atmosphere just slightly denser. The air is much like Earth, with a slightly lower oxygen percentage and a bit more helium.
I mention all this because the gravity makes me look a bit more muscular than the average human female. By the standards of Tryphon I am extremely petite. In Earth measurements I am 5'6” (168 cm) tall and weigh 140 pounds (63.5 Kg). Most Earth guys (well, a lot of the women to, for that matter) seem to want to know more so to accommodate you here are some of the more pertinent statistics.
36A-27-34 (91.5-68.5-86 cm)
Jeans, size 7 or 8, depending on the brand and cut
Dress size 8
Shoe size 10
Blue eyes
Blond hair with natural red highlights
Fair skin, slightly tanned
Hey... you have seen my picture, why do I have to bother with all of this?
My race is pretty much human. Genetically we are close enough that inter-breeding has already happened. Unless you have been trained to spot the differences you would not know a Tryphonite if you were married to one. There are thousands of us on Earth, mostly cross-bred descendants of earlier visitors from around 1800-1900 AD. When the industrial revolution was really getting going we came in force to try to guide a more environmental path on Earth. Though not fully successful, we feel without our intervention a catastrophic greenhouse effect would have already gripped Earth. It has come more slowly and hopefully the damage can be minimized before it becomes to late.
Ok, She just told me to get back on subject.
I think that covers me pretty well in general. The people of Tryphon who get to Earth tend to be strong and of fairly high endurance compared to the average Earthling. The lower gravity and higher oxygen content helps with this, plus the fact that most of us are trained hard before being given agent status on your world. We don't always stay that way though. Many of my fellow agents have “gone native” and gotten very lazy. Personally, I feel this is very unprofessional conduct and that is where I come in. I'm a hunter, a cop of sorts for my planetary government. My job is to track down and identify any of our people who might be causing harm to your Earth or its inhabitants. I do not bother those that have just decided to live a normal life though. It is so hard to leave everything and everyone behind that you have known all your life to go somewhere far away on a permanent basis. Those that I find I offer return passage to if they are not harmful and if they wish to stay they only need to remain registered so we can make sure they stay within the law and are OK themselves. If they are breaking our laws though they are returned if they can be captured peacefully, or neutralized if they fight or run.
Ok, I've told you more than you really are supposed to know. Should I edit it out or leave it... I think you have a right to know but I am going to get my butt in a sling over this I am sure!
One last thing
I personally think I'm the real one and SHE is the fictitious character. I know I exist, I'm writing this aren't I?
Peace and Goodwill to all!
