Most of you know me as yellobrickroad1 (yello), my given name is Lori (but don't ask why, I'm still asking myself). It was easy picking the internet name yello, since my mother is known as kansas, and sister as tornadoalley. Well I thought I would share a bit of my life with everyone I know now and will know in the future.
I live in a small town in south east Kansas,and have lived here since '77. Small town life does have it's downfalls, but it is pleasing to actually know your neighbor. And it is nice to take the occasional road trip to the city to break the monotony of small town life.
I am a divorced women of who knows how many yrs(selective memory). And if not for that, I am sure I would never of had the life experiences (some good, some bad) that I have been through. I have a wonderful dog named Molly (English Bulldog), that is loved by everyone in the family. Being my childhood pet was a bulldog, makes her even more special.
As far as computing goes, I was dead set against it. Thinking, "Who would want to sit and peck at a keyboard for hours?" Hey, I was totally computer illiterate! But now I thrive on any knowledge I can get ahold of. And even Molly has her a net boyfriend.

I have worked at my job(foundry) for the past 11 yrs and have met some very nice people on my journey. Including the wonderful people I have met through the internet. Some whom I have had the opportunity to visit in person, such as my trip to the Netherlands, and Ft. Wayne, Indiana.
