Welcome to T-Ravs Modesto youth baseball homepage. Travis Blansit had an excellent year as a pitcher for the Modesto Christian baseball team. He started out the season strong by not giving up a run in his first 3 games. Travis throws hard and appeared to be unstoppable before showing some control problems while playing limited innings. Coach Greg did his best to give everyone a chance to play any position they wanted to and the roster was about 13 kids. This limits kids ability to excel in one position while teaching them adversity and skills in other areas. The atmosphere for learning how to play sports at Modesto Christian is impressive. They have about 8 well groomed playing fields and the parental support and attitudes are a plus. I recommend taking your child to their try out dates where the children's skills are evaluated and later placed on a team with others similar in ability. If you have had bad experiences with the city schools baseball programs and want your child to have an opportunity to play in a good environment I urge you to contact Modesto Christian.
