This one half credit project involves a substantial amount of independent research. The basis of this independent study is a research report on a famous mathematician. A four page single spaced, typed final report is to be the end result of your research. A title page and verifiable bibliography are to be included. The title page and bibliography do not count as part of those four pages. Sources of information include libraries and the Internet.
The bibliography must include any book and author and date of publication. If Internet sources are used, the complete URL address must be included for verification.
The report is to be done in a legible font, and the type no larger than 12 point. Spelling will be checked. Failure to adhere to the above requirements or plagiarism will result in no credit. Mr. Hiller must approve the subject of the independent study before any work is to be started.
