Dr. Benjamin Franklin has made great contributions to society with his inventions, whether it be the lightning rod or the Franklin stove, he has brought us all together at one time or another. He made, in his time, great technological advances and many people agree that he discovered and harnessed the power of electricity. He also convinced France to help us in winning our independence he was in the Second Continental Congress and signed the Declaration of Independence.
