Gypsy is from a cross between Pincie Creek Osceola and Free "Spirit" of Pincie Creek.  Gypsy is my dog and she is absolutely wonderful.  My family believes she is too attached to me, but I see nothing wrong with an attentive dog. And she has pulled me, my sister, and my dad to the other side of the river when our air mattress had an unfortunate downfall (which I must say was a great deal more useful than Monty's "help"). Gypsy has more energy than any other Aussie I have been around. However, she obeys commands well and is well mannered in the house. She has lived with a variety of dogs and cats (that my roommates have brought with them) without any problems. Gypsy is reserved around strangers who come to my apartment, but she is very friendly to both dogs and people in public locations. She is also a very easy traveler (an important thing for a dog who has to take a trip from Columbia, Missouri to Arkansas every time I get homesick).  She has the misfortunate of having to live in my apartment, but she visits the sheep farm as often as I can make it. Gypsy is a bit gentler on the livestock than Monty (which I prefer since I'm using "borrowed" sheep), but she gets her point across when she choices and she is incredibly fast. We will begin more intense training when I get out of classes.
I was having difficulty having time and a contact for professional herding training and Gypsy and I needed an outlet for energy and school related stress. Therefore, we have recently been learning something about agility with the help of Sharon Savage from A-1 Dog Training. We got our first two legs to an UKC AGI agility title this August at the local trial. Yeah for Gypsy!!
