Hermione Granger
Hermione Granger
An intelligent Muggle-Born witch, Hermione is the Founder and President of S.P.E.W. After discovering the terrible plight of House Elves worldwide in her Fourth Year at Hogwarts, Hermione decided to make a stand, despite what everyone else thought. It is through Hermione's first bold 'word of mouth' advertising that S.P.E.W. spread to the global organisation it is today.
Harry Potter
Harry Potter
S.P.E.W. Secretary, Harry Potter is better known as The Boy Who Lived, the one who battled He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named no less than six times, and saved the wizarding world from almost sure destruction. In his second year, Harry freed Dobby the House Elf from the wrath of his nasty owners, an event which went on to inspire his best friend Hermione to start S.P.E.W.
Ronald Weasley
Ronald Weasley
Ron Weasley, youngest of the famed Weasley sons, off the Quidditch field is also the Treasurer for S.P.E.W., a role given to him by Hermione. At first, Ron was not supportive of Hermione's cause, then he became a Prefect and Hogwarts Head Boy and forgot all about it. He would like a House Elf though.
Dobby
Dobby the House Elf
Dobby the House Elf was the first to benefit from S.P.E.W., before it was even started. He was freed by Harry after a lifetime's painful servitude of a Dark Wizarding family who shall remain unnamed. Now a freelance fashion journalist and occasional model for S.P.E.W. campaigns, freedom is suiting Dobby well.
