Well...since I do read so many fics, I figured that it might be a good idea to recommend some in case other people want to read something. As such, I will be recommending three fics at a time and will change them...whenever I can be arsed to. ^-^
(8)Rec the first: Harry Potter and the Hero of Time By Michelle Lancaster. Harry Potter/Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. This is...just a totally kickass fanfic. I mean, seriously, it's het, and I still love it. Just a shame it's over.... Anyway, it's pretty much about Harry being Link's descendant and Link comes back to life (sort of) along with Zelda and Harry gets a part of the Triforce and WEE.
(8)Rec the second: Harry Potter and the Secret link By Capricious Purple Clarity. Harry Potter/Gundam Wing. In which Duo was born on Earth and is (belatedly) sent to Hogwarts, the other four pilots are wizards as well, and the world is out for the Gundam Pilots' blood. (They take refuse in Hogwarts, silly.)
(8)Rec the third: Defensive Strategies By m_butterfly. House. Um...yeah. I'll let her summary speak for itself: In which Wilson has a problem, House has a cunning plan, girls hunt in packs, chocolate cake has unexpected dangers, furniture is unintentionally ordered, several conversations occur, and dinner is repeatedly served. Starring House, Wilson, House & Wilson's Issues, Cuddy, an Original Female Character, and the Original Female Character's Breasts. Trust me, they deserve the separate billing.
(7)Rec the first: Never and Never By IceraMyst. Kingdom Hearts. In which Cloud returns, disappears again, and Leon is sent off to find him. Cloud/Leon.
(7)Rec the second: A Mary Sue Alphabet By Irony-chan. Harry Potter. I do so love Mary Sue parodies. Especially ones in poem form.
(7)Rec the third: Tread Softly By Dius Corvus. Harry Potter. In which Harry Potter has multiple names and likes to travel through time. Funfun. Okay, I make it sound stupid. It's really good, I promise.
(6)Rec the first: Surfacing By Calligraphy. Harry Potter. An excellent insight into the mind of Not-so-Evil!Peter. A must-read for anyone that supports (or doesn't support) the notion that the rat is more complicated than we're led to believe.
(6)Rec the second: Our Version of RW with a Crossover Twist By Split Persona. Ronin Warriors/Gundam Wing crossover. Wherein Sage Date is Heero Yuy's younger brother, Rowen Hashiba and Ryo Sanada are pathetically in love with people they just met, and the doctors are more evil than usual. Damn them. ...And I just made this sound like a humor fic. It isn't, honestly.
(6)Rec the third: Animula By Shadows-Redrum. Harry Potter. One of the best Harry/Severus fics I've read since my HP/SS addiction kicked in. The fic is an AU from the series, and in it Harry goes to Stonewall and is abused by family and peers alike. Guess what happens. (Also includes Marauder mayhem, though not exactly in a form you'd usually expect.)
(5)Rec the first: Only Time By Rynne Lupin. Harry Potter. After the defeat of Voldemort, Harry goes back into the past to become the Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher while his parents are at Hogwarts for their seventh year. It's a great fic, now go read! ^-^
(5)Rec the second: Harry Potter and the Year of Rebellion By Full-Pensieve. A sixth year fic, with plenty of OotP spoilers. Yeah, if you haven't read OotP yet, I can't say anything else, so.... Anyway. It's not slash, but go read it anyway. Harry/Hermione.
(5)Rec the third: Perfect Child By AmandaMarsters. A great poem on Harry's feelings about his part in the war.
(4)Rec the first: Playstation Fever By Soulsinger. A Ronin Warrior fic. This one’s too funny. Imagine the Warlords finding out what a Playstation is. Imagine them seeing Tomb Raider. I think you’ve got it already.
(4)Rec the second: Future Help by Mistress Talon. Very nice GW/HP x-over, with a great plot. I love it. ^-^
(4)Rec the third: Most People By Kickflaw. Is a very good fic, nonetheless, with a few sequels. All you go read them. Now. If you go here, you can get to the rest of the page, and find the sequels.
(3)Rec the first: End of Innocence By Dixxy. A Ronin Warriors fic. I love this fic. ^-^ Is very sad, though. Cye-centric, and definitely not the happiest fic around.
(3)Rec the second: To the Moon and Back By Dark Eos. A Ronin Warriors fic. Rowen/Sage yaoi. Yes, I know I've said that I don't like Ronin-yaoi (especially when Rowen's involved), but this fic was just too sweet to leave out. ^^
(3)Rec the third: The Falcon Menace By Silver Falcon. A Ronin Warriors fic. Well, actually, it's all of her fics, but the first one is the one I'm reccomending. Warlord-centric with an OC, but it's great. I love it. ^-^
(2)Rec the first: Switching Lives By Darkness. One of the best Gundam Wing/Harry Potter crossovers out there, in which Harry has a tiny little secret that he shares with one Heero Yuy. And the pilots have magic. ^-^
(2)Rec the second: Histories: Snake God By Amanda Swiftgold. A Ronin Warriors fic. Anyone else here interested in Sekhmet's past? Well, even if you're not, it's a great fic. (2)Rec the third: Whirligig Descent By Banjodog. A Kingdom Hearts fic. Squall's (or Leon's) story, from the world of Final Fantasy VIII to...well. If you're going to read this fic, I'll assume you know the story. ^^
Rec the first: The Game By Nell. A nice big, major AU thing. Okay, that doesn't make it sound really interesting, but trust me, it's a great read. All prologue and chapter of it that's done. ^^
Rec the second: Coexistence By cyan. A very good fanfic, a bit of an AU of the fourth book. Harry finds a spell that can destroy Voldemort forever, but with...extreme side effects.
Rec the third: Dance With Me by Random Slytherin 1. My absolute favorite fanfic by her, and what inspired me to write my poem Dance. A must-read Harry/Draco.
