Manuscripts of Qa’a Xa – Fifth Age, Second Wave of the Ethereal. I have compiled these manuscripts as a source of information for myself and to those whom seek knowledge of on any of the subjects contained within these pages. In regards to where I plan to place these manuscripts – I will keep one copy of them binded within my sacred book and one set in the dark but magical caves deep within the realm of Mytharria. As I write these very words I am currently within the bounds of the physical realm of Mytharria. I will continue to elaborate on this realm further on in these manuscripts.
My origins. Thus, I was born in the city of Hohour of the Xur Tzara Empire under the sign of the silken star, or the ever-minded one. My Father, Qa’a Yur, was a high ranking wiseman of the high court. My Mother, Iiolyut Va, was the beautiful principal wife of my Father. Although I came from a wealthy family I remained ever so humble minded. I have never had a lust for gold or wealth but rather a lust for wisdom and knowledge. Some tribute this lust towards my sign of the silken star while other’s simply state it is the path that is my soul. Regardless, I remain ever perplexed as to the origins of this burning desire.
During the Fifth Age of the Second Flame I was introduced to the great one known as Yov Ikva, the master. Upon our first meeting he became keenly interested in the abilities of my mind. He stated that I was one of the few in the realm that had the abilities and set of mind to study the secretive arts of the arcane. He went before my Father and requested that I study under him. My Father willingly agreed.
I traveled with my new master to the distant isle Ur Vix where I spent many years in the great library researching magic, the ethereal, the astral planes and various other subjects. I became quite knowledgeable of the arcane. But I lacked the ability to harness magic to my ability. Something only direct experience could provide.
Some time later in the future I was studying in the great library and came across a parchment of most ancient times. I was fascinated to find a somewhat forgotten portal link to a realm known as Mytharria. I questioned my Master about this realm and he explained that it was a great mystery to scholars of the realm. It was a distant realm with magical energy pulsating from its very core. It was rumored to also be inhabited.
Lo, I requested that I be granted permission to travel to this Mytharria realm in order to further my magical abilities. I was forewarned that because of the massive energies surrounding the realm on the ethereal planes that it would be much like a well. I could go in but it would prove difficult to get out. Thus, I accepted the risk. I was soon granted permission from the high court to travel out of the realm by way of massive sorcery.
I have included a chart depicting the various known and notable portal connections in the local ethereal. These realms are all known to have intelligent, some not magical however, beings within them. I will briefly describe each one I have included on the chart.
Ti Ux is a very bizarre realm, indeed. From my studies I have concluded that it is ruled by an intelligent race of magical beings made from a twisted, yet fascinating, form of magic. Little else is known besides that it contains very little, if not any, physical matter. It is, in fact, entirely made of magical energy. This particular realm glows the most brightly in the local ethereal.
Bri It Ur Ni Uh is a magical realm inhabited predominately by humans. According to the various astral travelers from my homeland, it is a realm in great civil upheaval. Murderous ramparts apparently rule the very realm itself. I have heard that many of the ‘intelligent’ beings that exist in this particular realm are quite mad and insane. Magic is somewhat well developed within the beings of this realm but have much to learn. According to the astral travelers the realm has recently undergone a magical war between a corrupt sorcerer and the high ruler of the realm. The sorcerer was vanquished by an unknown astral traveler.
Yux Uv is a large, primitive realm according to various astral travelers. The realm is made up of swamps and lowland hills. Being the extremely volatile land it is, it has brewed some powerful creatures. Civilization is barbaric within this realm. Magic is unknown of in this realm.
Mytharria, besides what I have stated earlier in this manuscript, is surrounded by great magical energies on the ethereal universe. The very essence of the realm pulsates with magical energy. The realm has recently undergone a great god war. I assume that the energies surrounding the realm have been caused by the aftermath of the god wars. Apparently the land of the realm was torn apart and rebuilt. Some of the beings of the land survived with the grace of their deities. The energies of the war and aftermath would have caused great amounts of elemental, divine and negative energy beyond anything the realm could absorb, and thus it lies on the ethereal surrounding the realm. The realm’s intelligent species are humanoids. Although the different species vary greatly, their various intentions are greater. I have yet to determine the general alignment of the realm in general. From what I’ve encountered magic is quite advanced in Mytharria’s societies. Not nearly as quite as in my homeland, but quite advanced.
Tau Ul, according to my studies, is nothing more than a realm of warring supernatural forces. The various powers within this particular realm appear to be at constant war with each other for no apparent reason. No known astral traveler has ever directly entered this realm due to the massive forces at war with each other.
Xur It Xa, much like Yux Uv, is a primitive and barbaric realm of great chaos. Magic is developed in minor areas. Simple folk magic practiced by shamans seems to be the only thing accomplished in terms of magic in this realm. According to astral travelers the realm is highly volcanic and produces massive amounts of fire energy on the ethereal plane.
Xali Up Si is a highly advanced realm in terms of magic. I know this from what I’ve heard, read and sensed from this realm. No known astral traveler has ever entered this realm because of a great shield of odd magical energy disallows travel into the realm. All that is known about the interior of the realm is that a great magical, intelligent force inhabits it.
Fufuxa, from my studies, is a dark realm corrupted by magic. Undead sorcerers rule this dark realm. Besides the great amount of corruption within the realm it is greatly advanced in terms of magic. Far more advanced than Mytharria but not as much as my homeland. It is greatly feared amongst the high court and scholars of the arcane in my homeland that the evil of this realm will eventually spill out of Fufuxa and attempt to conquest the homeland. However, until that occurs the high court will allow only study of this realm from a distance.
Demonu, the demon’s realm. Once fabled amongst my people during their primitive days it came to be a reality. Demons, evil supernatural forces and dark energies control this realm. It is, in fact, a hell on its own. No one known astral traveler has ever come back alive from this realm. It is also unknown as to why this realm came to be the way it is. Little more is known about this realm only that it should be avoided at all costs.
Xur Tzara, my homeland. One of the most highly developed magical societies in the local ethereal universe. Magic is highly contained amongst select scholars appointed by the high court. The high court, being the most wisest and strongest of people in the entire realm. The civilization is vast, highly developed and greatly ruled. The realm is large, rocky and warm. Vast amounts of elemental energy bellow forth from the planet’s core. There are no deities of Xur Tzara. The society has no need of them and has never had them at any time in their known history.
Kotho is not an inhabited realm. However, I have included it in this manuscript to note that it is a realm of complete nothingness. Absolutely nothing exists within this particular realm. It is highly peculiar considering that all other known realms contain something.
Thus, concludes my manuscripts. As time progresses I may add more to these scriptures as I learn more and the universe unfolds itself ever so ever.
