The Beginning

Pherdoien, one of the continents in the world of EndHol and were the Great War took place, is once again heading for war. It is said that the Dwarf King Valin Deathhands has made a pact with the halforc Ertai the Corrupted, the leader of the new Orc tribe, who has been seen in the mines of Ghathal, the home of the dwarfs. There have been reports of raids against villages were orcs and dwarfs plundered together side by side. These reports have come more frequent over the last weeks and I fear this is only the beginning. Some reports from survivors claims that Ertai himself takes part in these raids and we fear that the next target will be one of the great cities in Pherdoien. Some patrols have been sent out by Nathelis en Vec, King of the Paladin City Icatia, but all of them have been annihilated, leaving only a few survivors. These survivors have witnessed orc and dwarfs fighting with an unnatural strength, with some kind of aura glowing around them. The source of this power is believed to come from Ertai. Even though he is a powerful wizard, he couldn't generate this kind of power on his own, but where he drains this power from we don't know.  With this threat rising in the north, the Paladin City Icatia wants to go to war against this evil and eliminate it once and for all. The elves in the united forests of Liaan withhold their peaceful position and thinks this can be settled with diplomacy. Time is running out and without a united force against Ertai and Valin this doesn't look good. War must bee avoided at all cause, the last Great War almost obliterated Pherdoien, leaving it open to Borin. But if we can't find the source to Ertai's powers, war is what we'll get...
