My Rants And Raves...

**Everything on this page IS related to Criss Angel... in some sort of '6 Degrees of Kevin Bacon' way. ~Krista

-----Page 2----- May 13, 2002: Sebastian Bach will forever be the BEST!:) [SAME AS CRISS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!] I saw him at the Stone Pony on Saturday May 11, 2002. AWESOME show! He was dressed in his purple Riff Raff outfit with his Jekyll vest. [see www.sebastianbach.com burrn magazine for pictures of the costumes] And he sang songs from JEKYLL & HYDE and THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW!!! He sang mostly Skid Row songs---a few Baz songs;) Baz sang my FAVORITE SONGS!!! He sang This Is The Moment and said "I don't know about you, but I love that song..." Then...normally it is Monkey Business/Godzilla....this time...It was Monkey Business/ TIME WARP! It was awesome beyond words:) The first song in the encore, none other than CONFRONTATION! For those of you who don't know...Confrontation is from Jekyll & Hyde. Jekyll is singing Lost In The Darkness. Hyde takes over and Jekyll tries to get rid of him. I cannot explain this in a way that does justice to the song. He is wearing the bloody shirt;) It is really amazing how Baz does this song...especially with rock music behind it...with the guitars and drums and fuzz;) AWESOME! Baz can totally pull off that song....It's an amazing thing to see on stage;) If you have not seen it at one of his shows, or at Jekyll & Hyde with Baz, you are TRULY missing out! [I would tell you to go and watch the Jekyll & Hyde DVD with Hasselhoff to see what I mean...but he can't pull it off like Baz. If you like, the play is really good...so watch it;) It would've been awesome if they made a Jekyll & Hyde DVD with Baz;)] In the concert, Baz changed into his bloody Hyde shirt to do Confrontation:) It's amazing though...Jekyll & Hyde, for him, has been over since October 2000. That just shows you how amazing a show it actually was--and how much Baz liked it. Baz played an hour and a half show... AWESOME! After, I met Paul Crook! I love him:) He was using SIX B.C. Rich Mockingbirds! He had the acrylic green and red ones too;) I was talking to him about his guitars....They're really cool. One of these days I will buy my B.C. Rich green acrylic Mockingbird... They weigh like 70 pounds though! I never met BamBam...sadly.......someday I WILL...can't wait;) Baz came out around 1:25...but he was standing behind the Winnebago [his Winnebago;)] talking for about 40 minutes! Then he decided to come over and sign stuff for all of us non-guest pass people;) He said "I only have 5 minutes!" He was out there for at LEAST 20 minutes;) This woman asked him from across the bar if she could take pictures at the rest of his shows. He said "I don't give a f*ck!" [For those of you who don't know, the Stone Pony stole your camera and film if they saw you taking pictures without a pass...] If BAZ does NOT care if people take pictures of him during his show, what's wrong with the owners? I wish I had some pictures of Baz in action! To see that gorgeous dude towering over you while headbanging, swinging that microphone over his head, or wailing out a song is a truly amazing site;) I got spit on a few times in the show. But hey.....who cares! ;) Well, after I got 2 things signed by Baz---those LOVELY Jekyll pictures he was selling;), I saw Paul running by. I needed a picture with him;) My friend had a camera with her...so I got a picture with Paul;) He grabbed me SO TIGHT! I have never been grabbed that tight in my LIFE!:) The wind blew hair in my mouth...I couldn't leave it like that in the picture! So I said WAIT! I have to fix my hair! He let go of me and said "You have to fix your hair..." :) I just said IT BLEW IN MY FACE!;) He said something to Chika I believe. Then he came back for the picture. He grabbed me VERY tightly again [:)] and Kelly snapped the camera. He yelled "I WASN'T READY!" :) Kelly thought he was looking in the camera...he LOOKED like he was...but I guess he didn't quite pose;) So then he grabbed me even TIGHTER and Kelly took the picture:) Ahh I hope those pictures come out good! :) Then no one was around---Baz was near the Winnebago again...Paul was going back to the Winnebago...We saw BamBam standing near the door. Kelly asked me if I wanted a picture with him. I said no because I didn't want to lose my pictures with Paul. [The nasty security guard from the Stone Pony actually RIPPED the film out of some guy's camera and threw a girl's disposable camera in the garbage! I hate that. So I couldn't risk losing MY pictures...I just hope Kelly doesn't get it taken away at Irving Plaza;)] Well...I MUST say...that was the BEST concert I have EVER been to! I have never screamed and sang so much in my LIFE! :) And Baz....well...Baz is the best thing to EVER come out of Jersey;) I am glad to be a Jersey person myself...we get all the cool bands and venues;) Baz has the BEST voice I have EVER heard! He will forever be my favorite singer/actor/musician! He's gorgeous too;) Ever see his old beat up pointy white boots? I love those things;) Some of the other Bazfreaks/Bazmaniacs want to torch them or something. I think they are nice though. There's this store that sells ALL Bach Boots;) [that's not their only stock but they sell every pair of boots Baz owns] I am going to pick up a pair of white pointy's for my birthday;) All of his shoes are $150 though;) It's an awesome store...a ROOM full of BOOTS! ;) I never got to see Baz with Skid Row....[I was too young]...and I did not hear about him until about two years or so before he was in Jekyll & Hyde. But I am glad to be a "Bazfreak" or whatever you call them;) I will see Baz every chance I get;) I only saw Jekyll & Hyde 3 times and Rocky 2 times....but hey....broadway tickets are expensive;) I will never forget anything I have seen with Baz;) I saw the coolest thing last week...I was outside school a bit early and it wasn't open yet, so I was looking at all the cars going by. A bus stopped in front of me. I saw Baz's face in the corner of the ad on the side! The Alias ad was half ripped off...so the top half was the JEKYLL & HYDE one! [If you don't remember or never saw, Baz as Hyde on top of Colleen Sexton as Lucy--with information about the show]. It was very funny though;) The play ended in October 2000...and I saw it on the buses in my town until around......a year later? And now...it's bach again;) ~Krista "Forgive me please for I know not what I do...how can I keep inside the hurt I know is true?" "We stand and we won't fall. We're one and one for all. The writings on the wall...WE ARE THE YOUTH GONE WILD!" FOREVER WILD! ***NOTE: Yes I have a LOT to say about Sebastian Bach...Concerts are different from theater shows. If I told about Criss's show, it would ruin it!!!!! I do think Baz had the same set list for the Friday and Saturday Stone Pony shows;) From what I read in the reviews...it's exactly the same...;) Anyway, I cannot put details about Criss's show on my site. I can just say how awesome it was. I DO post about Criss...and I will.*** **Ah yes...my friend said he saw Criss outside with Tronik promoting his show again;) My friend sees Criss every week when he goes to SmackDown! [Criss is always running between the restaurant and the theater.] May 5, 2002: Yes! I DID see Mindfreak AGAIN! What is this? The.....EIGHTH time? ;) Well....the show is VERY good....a lot of minor things have been changed. ..........I should be one to notice;) The show is...not as dark and eerie anymore...IN MY OPINION...it has a greater comedic aspect to it. It's still an AWESOME show;) I cannot tell you how it is comedic... It might ruin the show and I don't think I am allowed... GO SEE THE SHOW! Gets better every time;) Will I be going again?...........................................OF COURSE!!!!!! April 27, 2002: I am going to see Mindfreak next Saturday:) Front row! :).... Yes I have decided to show you all SOME of my Criss Angel graphics...not many...and not all..... And no I still do not have a picture of myself to put up here:) April 26, 2002: Sad sad news... Layne Staley---of Alice In Chains---is dead. He was 34 years old. :*( RIP ---------------------------------------------------------- Layne Staley was found dead in his apartment on Friday 04/19 at the young age of 34. He was the enigmatic front man for Alice In Chains, a leader in the alternative music movement of the early nineties. Alice In Chains hailed from Seattle, WA and they helped start grunge as a style of music. The other bands that helped them forge this sound are Pearl Jam and Soundgarden as well as Stone Temple Pilots and Nirvana. Layne had ties with members from the first two bands in including his manager who is married to Chris Cornell Soundgarden’s singer. Layne played drums in the eighties and was involved in a couple of glam-bands. In 1987 Layne hooked up with AIC’s guitarist Jerry Cantrell, Layne immediatley dropped the sticks and took over mic duties. They picked up a couple of Jerry’s friend to fill in the rhythm section, Sean Kinney and Mike Starr (later replaced by Mike Inez) played drums and bass respectively. Their first release was appropriately titled “We Die Young” a hauntingly painful reminder of the recent passing of Layne. Sony/Columbia House released this as a teaser before their first full length cd Facelift. Alice released three full length cds and a handful of ep’s and other releases. Most all of the lyrics were written by Layne, and it was obvious to most what his dark side was. Smack, China white, heroin, whatever you want to call it, it was there. This became a big problem for the whole band, few tour dates where made and those few dates were sometimes cancelled. Layne was in and out or rehab numerous times and was actually sober in ’94 when Kurt Cobain of Nirvana committed suicide from apparent problems of addiction. Shortly after that A.I.C.’s first and only ‘sober’ cd was released. Jar Of Flies was released in 94 as an EP it was the first Ep from any band to ever top the charts. The last time that Alice played live was to record MTV’s unplugged album. That took place in ’96 and his left hand was completely bandaged up during the performance. Supposedly his veins had started to collapse from the needle. It really hurts that this happened to such a wonderful man, but I guess everyone really did see it coming. In ’96 Jerry was quoted as saying something like “Im surprised he’s made it this far.” So much of their music was about heroin. Layne had lost his fiancee to an overdose in the early nineties and wrote ‘down in a hole’. The song ‘would’ was written about Mother Love Bone singer Andrew Wood who also died of an overdose. Layne was even quoted as once saying “I wrote about drugs, and I didn't think I was being unsafe or careless by writing about them. Here's how my thinking pattern went: When I tried drugs, they were (expletive) great, and they worked for me for years, and now they're turning against me – and now I'm walking through hell, and this sucks.” After Layne’s passing many musicians have come out to public anounce their mourning. Billy Corgan of Smashing Pumpkins fame said “Layne had an amazing voice that had such a beautiful, sad, haunting quality about it. He was different because his heaviness was in that voice. I saw Alice in Chains at one of their final performances, opening for Kiss at Tiger Stadium. They played outside in the sunshine, and they were awesome. I think that's a good way to remember someone who has [been] and will be missed." Tom Morrelo of Rage Against The Machine had this to say "I will always remember him as the bright, funny, and amazingly talented singer who got up there every hot summer day in a gorgeous suit and sang like an angry angel. We would laugh until we split our sides arguing about who was 'more metal.' I hope now he is at peace." "Layne wore his soul on the outside," wrote Heart's Ann Wilson, who contributed backing vocals to 1992's Sap EP. "He was luminous ... too tender for this world. We are all very sad to lose him, but happy that he's not sick anymore. He's free on his own journey." ----------------------------------------------------------- Alice In Chains/Layne Staley Info: when alice toured with van halen, it was eddie van halen who said they needed a wardrobe change and he went out and bought them flannel shirts and doc martens which became the 'look' of the whole grunge scene. alice recorded 2 new songs for the last action hero soundtrack, which they thought was gonna be the biggest box office hit ever. there is a font that was made using their logo writing. the song rooster was about jerry's dad who went to vietnam and when he came back he was a terrible man. layne never really knew kurt cobain, even though they both hailed from the same city. the band Godsmack named themselves after an alice song either layne or jerry once said that when they were young they would tie up kittens legs and throw them into a lake. they would also take cats and let one half look nice and alive, and the whole other side of the cat would be all dead and decomposing. alice covered david bowie's 'suffragette city' alice wrote a song about chewbacca from star wars last song they recorded was 'born again' on nothing safe the best of the box jerry cantrell was in the movie jerry maguire the whole band was in the movie singles as well as their song 'would' layne was seen on stage at jerry's solo tour layne said he was afraid of guitars layne was in a solo project called 'mad season' which featured members of pearl jam and the screaming trees *****Thanks to waDs for writing that wonderful piece on Layne and Alice for my site:)***** April 3, 2002: On my pictures page, Peter Steele and Criss Angel: I have been told they could pass for brothers;) But Criss is more of a vampire and Peter is more of a werewolf. :) That's all for right now...but you will be hearing from me soon;) March 31, 2002: R.I.P. BRANDON LEE 9 years ago today.... Died while filming The Crow in 1993 in Wilmington, NC. A piece of a blank got stuck in the gun...they sent everyone with gun knowledge home. There was a flashback scene where Eric was supposed to walk in and Funboy and his gang saw him and shot him while he was holding a bag of groceries. They didn't check the guns. Michael Massee was supposed to be the one who shot Eric [FunBoy]. They shot the scene...everyone thought Brandon was taking his part to heart...until they yelled "cut" and noticed something was wrong. Turns out when the gun was shot, the blank turned into something like a real bullet because of that piece that was stuck. It got lodged near his spine and they tried to operate. They couldn't save him. Brandon was supposed to get married in two weeks...and The Crow was supposed to be done filming in a few days. They were not sure if they should finish it without him...They decided to finish it and touched up the scenes they needed with great digital effects. It was such a shame that Brandon died on the set of The Crow. At the end of the movie, there is a dedication to him:) On the videos, there are clips of his last interview. On the DVD, there is only the quote on his last interview. March 29, 2002: I was watching Edward Scissorhands yesterday...Why does EVERY good movie remind me of Criss? I am sure EVERYONE has seen Edward Scissorhands...if not, GO SEE IT!:) But you know when that red head whos in love with everyone took Edward down to the salon to check it out before Edward bought it? When she said there would be a cosmetics near the counter... Edward walked over and raised his arms near the wall....Is it just me, or does that remind you of something too? You know Edwards mansion? Right near the bottom of the stairs...there's this...sculpture type thing..... Does that remind you of something too??? I find odd references in EVERYTHING:) But hey, that's awesome!!! Edward Scissorhands and The Crow are like the best movies EVER made! [In MY opinion anyway...but Criss loves The Crow with Brandon Lee;)] I KNOW Criss's ideas are all.... imagined up by him and are his own unique, genius ideas! I know he definitely did not get his ideas from these movies;) I am NOT in ANY way stating that Criss got his ideas from The Crow and Edward Scissorhands.... I just find it strange how every movie I love seems to remind me of Criss or his show:) I...look...for things to relate to other things;) I relate Type O Negative lyrics to just about ANYTHING...and I manage to find odd resemblances in normal people to famous people;) And... somehow, I tend to find things in movies that remind me of certain things...as is the case with Edward Scissorhands and The Crow. Other people may not see things the way I do;) And I know that...just please don't get the wrong idea from what I write....these are just my ideas....and I DON'T mean ANYTHING BAD by them! In the WWFNY, they ALWAYS play a video of Rob Zombie [ROB ZOMBIE HEADLINING SECOND STAGE AT OZZFEST!!!!!!!]in concert with Edge...singing Never Gonna Stop...and Edge says "Never gonna stop me!" once...after that, they always play the Mindfreak commercial:) 2 great things in a row;) March 24, 2002: Wow! Mindfreak!!!! YAY!!! Back seats again....not MY fault...TICKETMASTER'S FAULT!:) So I got T4 seats for May 4th now. I might get to run into Criss on April 5th and 7th:) Yay me! Fozzy April 5th, at the World...in WWFNY:)...Kevin Bacon April 7th, with NOTHING to do all day;) Anyway....Mindfreak is AWESOME! Criss changed it...a little bit...It's still really good though;) I made something...and showed Criss...and he took it from me and was running around the theater showing it to people;) That was the best;) He liked it and was "very flattered." What a day....I saw a dude that was on tv!!! He played Wayne Sielinske in the Honey, I Shrunk the Kids tv show! He walked RIGHT BY ME at like 12:15...I didn't stop him:( I forgot his name and all I had out that he could've signed were Mindfreak flyers;) I wasn't going to yell "DUDE! YOU WERE ON TV!"...even though I thought about it;) Once, I saw Roman from Professional Murder Music walking by me and I didn't know his name at the time...so I went over to his band member Jeff and asked what was the name of the dude with the dreds;) And then when I was talking to Roman, I said hey ya know I was gonna yell 'hey dude with the dreds' because I didn't know your name;) I got his bracelet:) Hmmm....someone likes to call me "Kristen." Wonder who and why;) Oh...and Criss's Mindfreak video plays OVER AND OVER on the sides of the marquis all day long;) It occasionally appears on the front of the marquis. There's about 6 tv screens when you're walking down the stairs on the right...2 of them play the Mindfreak video all day. When I was eating, they kept playing Fozzy ads over and over;) And then, on the BIG screen...they played the Mindfreak video once...and they played Rob Zombie with Edge 2 times:) [once before the 5pm show, once after the 8pm show]. Well, I have run out of things to say;) If I do wind up seeing Criss before or after I see FOZZY I will post about it;) *~*Krista ["Kristen"]*~* March 22, 2002: Would ya look at that...I maxed out the other page in notepad;) Had to make another one...:) Yay!!! Mindfreak for me again tomorrow! 7th time for me! :) You like the Metal page?;)......Maven and Nidia.....[[personally, I liked Josh better---but Maven is still cool]]. I am going to start putting up some lyrics from the Trilogy...all the ones I have are missing parts;) I have listened to those CDs who knows how many times, yet I can't seem to figure out all the words;) Yea...so if anyone knows something I am missing, let me know;) Mmmm I heard Mindfreak illusions were supposed to change....can't wait to see;) And I get to see the NEW illusions ALL THE WAY IN THE BACK too;) Ticketmaster....they're fault;) But I am going back at the end of April:) You know what I can't wait for? April 7.....no not Mindfreak;) [[I go on Saturdays]] but, KEVIN BACON---ONE MAN DRAMA-- SECOND ROW-------CENTER!!!! Closing performance;) I've never seen it yet...but it MUST be good;) I did get to meet him in... July or August---bad Krista can't remember....down at the Stone Pony in Asbury Park;) And I kept my front row center space for the whole.....2 hours;) Awesome!

Eos [the green creature] is no longer in Mindfreak. Svetlana Alexandra and Tatyana Senchihina are no longer in Mindfreak. I belive this was as of the beginning of March.
