On the left we have 16 day old rats. Their eyes are open now and they are all over the place. And on the right there is a picture of Penut and Walnut. Penut is the one in the front with the red eyes and Walnut is in the back with the black eyes. Walnut is also the daddy of the babies. Sad to say that Walnut died. Isn't true that for every birth there is a death?

I will be adding more pictures as these guys get bigger and redy to be taken to a new home. I wish I could keep them all, and so does my husband, but we just don't have room for all of them. Ten rats is just too many for a two bedroom appartment. Not to mention the bird the rabbits, the fish and the cats.
