Welcome to our new website!

You may be asking yourself some questions like:

bullet Who is the Coast Guard Auxiliary
bullet What is the average day in the life of a Coast Guard Auxiliary Member
bullet Why Should I Join

These are all good questions. Lets see if we can answer a few.

Who is the Coast Guard Auxiliary Established by Congress in 1939 we are the volunteer service organization, civilian in nature, whose purpose is to assist the United States Coast Guard in any of its missions except direct law enforcement and military actions. As the civilian volunteer arm of Team CoastGuard, we volunteer time, talent, boats, radios, and aircraft. We receive special training in order to work effectively with the Coast Guard. Today, the 33,000 volunteer men and women of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary are active on the waterways and classrooms in over 2,000 cities and towns across the nation.
