Gnome

The Language:

Like all other ancient languages, gnomish has acquired words from neighboring languages and exported some of its own.

Grammatical Structure:
The structure of grammar within gnomish is the same as for common, with only a few exceptions.
Past Tense: Add ‘d’ if last letter is a vowel, else replace last letter with’ad’.

Pronunciation:
â = ah (sharp) ii = ee
ê = ay (soft)
There are no soft ‘c’s or 'g's in gnomish.
Alphabeticly, a comes before â and e before ê. i.e. aâbcdeêfghijk... etc.

Construction:
With few exceptions, the name for a particular craftsman or tradesman is constructed by sufixing the trade item or skill with weg. Examples: Shepherd is mothweg (moth being sheep); Silversmith is celebweg; Carpenter is aldweg; Locksmith is reftweg.
