Capital City The City Creatures The Game Charater Creation Home |
The war claimed hundred of thousands of lives, after the war disease, poisons, radiation, and starvation claimed millions more. Some estimate 80% of the human population has perished since the early part of the 21st century. But humans did survive, some were changed and some not, but scattered throughout the world there is still pockets of life. Capital City is no exception. Gangs: There is no shortage of gangs roaming the city. Anything from hell raisers looking for a good time to groups searching for supplies. The different types of gangs are varied and almost always dangerous. Slavers: The most powerful group of the city. These are individuals and their armies that gather people to work for them and fight in the arenas. Good fighters that survive the arena or loyal slaves that gain the masters graces may become part of his loyal troops. Don’t catch a slavers eye for he may take you for his own, and never cross a slaver.
Priests: The church became the guardians and modern knights of the city. Helping those in need and destroying evil, but always with their own rules.Scaves: Loners or small groups that live in the city or come here to seek supplies. Their armament and technologies are varied, constantly relying on what they find in the runes. Cracked: Young drug addicts always hyped up on one drug or another. They are completely unpredictable in their actions.
Urchins: There are many homeless children wandering Capital City; for whatever reason, parents died or didn’t want them. They form together in groups called prides, and watch each other’s backs. Often thought of as nuisances or thieves, urchins live on the streets scrounging or ‘lifting’ what they need to survive. Mutations are higher in younger generations and seem to be even higher in urchins; though they usually look normal many have some change to them.Ruks: Sometimes humans mutate to a functional form, more often than not the mutations go awry. And usually a Ruk is what is formed, twisted ugly beasts, roaming around with fags, claws, and primitive weapons. Ruks are usually looked on with distain and attacked on sight. Ruks usually live out of site during the day, in sewers and the like, but come out at night to hunt and raid. Their IQ is usually considered dull but their ferocity more than make up for it in a battle. |
Ghouls: Humans that have forsaken their humanness or mutants that crave human flesh? These creatures wander the city looking for their prey. Clearly once human they now have a hideous appearance;
taught drawn flesh over clearly visible bones, bulging eyes, tufts of scraggily hair, gaping mouths used for tearing flesh and the constant stench of death is what greets though who encounter these horrors. Usually working in groups to catch their prey, they often attack any humans encountered. Living in secluded dark places, ghouls are more active at night. |
