Christmas with the Kranks

It's not "A Christmas Story" and it sure isn't the "Elf," but it's definitly a popular holiday movie. That's why its not worthy of an A rating but it's not the most terrible thing out there today. Tim Allen has done his share with the festive films and just he keeps going back. After both series of "The Santa Clause" he's newest project is this. It seems he cannot get enough. "Halloween" actress Jamie Lee Curtis takes a break away from horror and focuses more on this comedy. True this is Christmas season, but have you spent it with the Kranks yet?

Imagine a tree without presents, a blizzard without snow, and a winter with no Christmas? Yes, and its possible. Maybe the thought never crossed your mind but it sure has happened with the Kranks. This is just what Luther and Nora wished for…a year ending without stress. Even though they had seemed to me the most enthusiastic about the festivities in the past; a few days after their daughter is away from home they don't see a reason to celebrate without her. Didn't put up a tree, didn't decorate the house and didn't even exchange gifts. But when their daughter pulls a fast one on them and decides to come home early they are pushed for time to try to get back in the "holiday spirit."
