Zaknafein Do'Urden

Zaknafein Do'Urden is the father of Drizzt. He is not actually a Do'Urden but rather the patron of one. He is the Weapons master of the house. Zak is different then most Drow because he dispises his peoples ways. Zak is happy when he sees that Drizzt is the same and starts to train Drizzt in the use of weapons. Zak tries to kill Drizzt though when Drizzt is to be sent to the academy because he does not want him to be warped.

When Drizzt returns from the academy, Zak sees that his son has indeed changed. Zak is shattered by this revalation. When he finds out that Drizzt changed in the fact that he is no longer ignorant of the ways of his people he is elated.
