Kaziganthi Orgil was a minotaur. One day he struck down an ogre who was going to kill two defenseless children. The ogre was his commanding officer though and he was forced to flee, even though the ogre was without honor. Eventually Kaz was captured by a group of goblins. He was saved by Huma, the famous knight who would stop Takhisis from taking over the world.

Kaz became friends with Huma, which was very strange considering the Minotaurs gods were the enemies of the Knights gods. Yet Kaz saw so much honor in Huma, that he realized that even all minotaurs, the children of the gods, were inferior to this great man. Huma was the single greatest warrior in Kaz's mind and Kaz would eventually change his allegiances from the gods of Evil to the Gods of Good. Kaz eventually goes on to emulate Huma for the remainder of his life.
