the Ripple Effect
Mood:  caffeinated
We have ripples, the word is spreading and people are flocking to Class Report in droves, okay maybe not in droves but they are trickling in and there are more coming who we know of that haven't had a chance to register yet. We'll soon hit our target of 50 poeple, I'm sure, to schedule the preunion. Hope to see you all soon, it'll be interesting at the very least if not a complete success. So we'll keep tossing those stones into the pond and hopefully it'll ripple out to those we haven't gotten yet.

Gathering Momentum
Mood:  cheeky
Well here we are about two weeks into this project and my wife is sick of hearing me talk about it, but that's beside the point. Hey, we're getting somwhere. The reunion site at classreport.com is coming together nicely and people are beginning to talk to each other, there's only about 7 or 8 of us registered at this point, but with the people those 7 know I can see possibly up to 25 poeple by months end (that'll only leave about 225 people unaccounted for, lol) I have been trying to be professional throughout this process and if anyone has any ideas on creating greater contact I'm all ears. I would like to thank Janet Brennan who has been seemingly working tirelessly on tracking you poeple down, and I'm not getting in her way, lol. On another note we recently found out that one of classmates has past away, Jamie Harro, unfortunately it's a great possibility that we will come across more lost alumni as we proceed, I feel it's our reponsibility to preserve their memory and honor them, if we ever get to an actual meet I propose a memorial at the location we choose, let me know your thoughts as always I can be reached at my personal email as well as the academyparkpreunion@msn.com . Thank you for your time.

Free Reunion Website
Mood:  don't ask
Okay, I found a website, absolutely free to use for reunion type stuff www.classreport.com, I took the liberty of signing on as class administrator and put everyones name on there, go to the sight, find your school, your year, then your name. If you don't see yourself there, add yourself, if you were in the yearbook you should be there. I will be adding your yearbook pics over time, very tedious process. Once again, any questions, give me a shout!

Every Journey Begins with a Single Step....
Okay, well I've already explained what I wanted to achieve, basically my footwork is done. I've created a flyer which you can find on the link for the Knightly News, please if you can, print it out and post it in your neighborhood. I've created a website with an email address so everyone can contact a central location. I've created a spreadsheet with everyone from our class on it and have begun listing email addresses and locations of everyone. I created our nifty little Academy Park Preunion Logo. Now aside from compiling the information I recieve, the rest is up to you folks. I don't plan on being too aggressive and calling poeple cold, I don't plan on selling email addresses or stalking anyone I may have had a crush on 18 years ago, if I was going to that,I would've done it already (by the way, sorry bout that, lol). If you have any questions email me, I'm always checking it and I will get back to you usually same day. If you know and are still friends with an Alumni, let them know. I will accept poeple as contacts for others if they do not have access to email or the internet. Here's the deal, our class got a crappy deal, we graduated in the interim years, computers were coming but hadn't been completely mainstream yet, so Alumni Associations were coming apart and the new generation was coming in and they didn't say two words to each other, so here I am 18 years later trying to create the dialogue. Let's do this thing, and if we want to a formal 20 year deal in 2008, all the work has been done already!
