In fact, his vision is much better than mortals, because he can also see heat and cold, as well as into the Astral plane to detect undead and other creatures that normal mortals wouldn't be able to decipher.

Clothing: Keeping with the styles, as well as wanting to remain comfortable, Ranth normally wanders around in tight fitting black clothing, mostly a combination of a false leather pants, and a false leather shirt. The material itself is a sort of cotton hybrid, but has the sheen and feel of leather, providing slight armor as well. Under the false leather shirt is a plain black undershirt.
Physical Description: Ranth isn't as big as his other brethren, but he is still quite intimidating. His hair is often left hanging over his face, his obsidian eyes crackling with the white lightning gleaming out from dark strands to provide a terrifying gaze. His face is muscular, sharp, and angular, adding to the horrifying, yet captivating gaze. His body is very muscular, having virtually no fat. His hands are huge, and as such, he is very proficient with his katanas, as well as his father's katana, the Blade of Kaijo. Ranth is, at least compared to mortals, a massive person.
Strengths: Ranth is proficient in Morphic Ryu-Ken, and Cobra Ki Jujitsu. His muscles may be large, but he is still extremely fast, and silent. He was a top student in the Academy of War, and is very well versed in the arts of combat and war. Ranth is skilled in the usage of katanas, dai-katanas, wakizashis, tantos, and shurikens.
Weaknesses: Ranth is somewhat
arrogant, even with the Knight's Oath fresh in his heart. He feels that
because he is Prince, and his Father King, he can get away with more things than
others. However, this doesn't come out all that often. Ranth is also
somewhat over confident in his abilities, and will often get others to get so
angry with him they challenge him to a fight, so he not only gets to display his
abilities, but also does not break the Oath.
Weaponry: Ranth excels in a variety of oriental style weapons, namely katanas and samurai swords. Ranth's chief weapon is his father's eleven foot long katana, the Blade of Kaijo, a truly impressive blade. Because of it's size, it's almost impossible for anyone other than a Kaijo Kagi to wield, and it was extremely difficult for Ranth to wield when he was younger, because of his smaller height. The blade is made of a strange type of hellish metal, that is actually warm to the touch, and darker than most metals, giving the appearance of a dark, smoky mirror. The blade won't stain, as has been proven with the blood that has been washed in it. The blade's edge cannot dull, and is extremely sharp.
The hand guard is made of an alloy that is extremely durable, deflecting most attacks so that the hand would remain safe. It's brownish in color, and also very well polished, refracting light like a mirror as well. The hilt is a shaft of metal, wrapped with a fine cloth, and then a grip of a high quality leather-like material. The hilt comes to an end with a ruby being gripped in four black talons. This ruby is what allows the sword to generate heat, and with high levels of energy, make the blade burst into a white flame. The ruby normally glows a dim crimson, but, as more energy is harnessed, the light becomes much brighter.
However, Ranth also uses twin practical folded katanas. Each blade measures roughly four feet in length, with the hilt adding another foot and a half, so his massive hands can actually grip it. The blades are made of a high tempered steel, and are kept as sharp as possible. The handle is made of a high quality wood, being secured to the tang with golden screws. There aren't anything showy about these katanas, merely used for defense and offense.
Ranth also, at various times, carries around a smaller version of the practical folded katana, in it's brother, the wakizashi. He rarely uses these, however, because they are so small in his hands. Ranth can also uses tantos, but again, they are very small in his hands, and are often more of a nuisance then of a help. He also carries several silver shurikens on his person, each one curved wickedly, and kept razor sharp. They are weighted and balanced, and extremely silent.
